Members and ATS guidelines.

Hopefully this will show an example of how easy it is to follow the ATS guidelines, while posting a thread. Just find a part of the point you are making and over emphasize if you must. It's only two freak'in paragraphs peeps. Notice how the title is modified to not only be about the guidelines.

I believe ATS is fantastic place and that it is an honor just to be a member. No other place in my world, do I get to associate with even one fantastic mind, the way I do with the constantly present number, there is with'in this structure. I love this place. I'm a total addict. I'm not even being prejudice about this in anyway. The range of members may be a tad bit exclusive, but it's only because its impossible to know everyone. Even tho I give it a hell of a try.

As an eample the range of members consists diversely, from some who I constantly have a bit of a quarrell with like, " Annee, Mr. XYZ, Madness in my Soul, The walking fox, Impaired etc." Members I do not agree with at all, on a topic that always brings us together. It's not often, I get a chance to convey, how much I admire and respect these and many others that fall into this catagory. so kudos to these. Although I can't help our disagreements, you all have my respect and admiration no matter how our conflictions, have ensued to prejudice any opinion, you may have of me.

Another example of this, would be the absolute friends I've made here and strongly disagree with like," Facelift, Titen Sxull, The Myth Lives, Gimme some truth etc ". They know they arn't exactly my heros, but we are never friends with our heros in life anyway. The fact that I've been both scolded and complimented by these, with respect intact, carries an immense amount of weight. Comrads.
Then those I along with so many others, have befriended because we do agree. and their contributions are amazing " Slayer 69, Conclusion 1 ( Conc ), on the edge, The Gut, etc. Lastly the catagory that only they can understand why it is a catagory at all for me. Hard to describe really. " Phage , Chadwickas, Tuaristacus etc",

This thread was meant only to show how easy it is to follow the guidelines. The title has been modified to help meet those guidelines. This is not GLP ! One liners and a link or a video, or liners and a link and a video, one paragraph certainly shouldn't recieve a reply. Also remember not to present large blocks of letters as it's just plain hard on some peoples eyes to read. Never punch a key in anger. Something I have trouble with myself quite often, but am doing well with, thanks to all the fine examples, of every above mentioned member.

I think you put into words some of the reasons I like ATS and hadn't thought of. Namely the wide variety of personalities with different strengths and subject knowledge.

Its hard to know who is paying attention to what. Like, your post lists people and its clear that you pay attention to actual posters (by name.) I get the feeling that some other posters -- even if they have been here awhile -- are only barely paying attention and don't interact with the board as if they were interacting with actial, different individuals. That's OK, we can have more than one posting style, but this makes it difficult to know who remembers you, who is paying attention, and how people think of you. It can get very confusing! But I like member analayses of other members like you just did because it shows you are paying careful attention to these people as individuals and I like that, it makes me feel more part of a real community here.
