Hey. You know those dreams where you wake up, do some stuff then wake up again and realize you were still dreaming?

Well.. imagine being caught in a loop of dreams and not being able to escape!

Now, I remember this dream in some detail, as I wrote down all details I could remember as soon as I got up. The whole thing is high weirdness. First of all, as I was falling asleep I heard a sound. It was something between a sinister laughing and an incoherent very loud buzzing. Go figure it out, I have no idea.

At first the dream was not a nightmare, but it was a very unpleasant atmosphere. I don't remember much of what happened in the beginning, I remember that I woke up, got up, did some stuff. Then I woke up again. Did some stuff. Then I woke up again! Then I woke up in sleep paralysis. And couldn't move... but I struggled very hard and finally managed to get up... and then I woke up again! I was trapped in dreamland!

Now, during the entire dream I had synchronicity! I was seing 11:11, etc. That is definitely the first dream with synchronicity I can remember!

Now, I was very distressed I kept "waking up", but again I drifted into believing the dream was real. But then I started paying attention. I went into a room with a man who was typing on a computer. And I noticed something wasn't right. I pulled his computer and it was some random plastic box with a few keys. Woman next door didn't have a face. And so on. So I started running - really fast. I walked on walls and the ceiling, doing flops in midair and so on.

Then people just started popping up out of nowhere, just like that, materializing in front of my eyes! And they had a story and were trying to become a part of the dream.

Then I realize I could bring in and out of existence crowds of people just by concentrating on doing that. And when I realized that I started changing the entire reality around me - I mean the entire surrounding environment.

And after that I finally woke up. I looked at the clock and it was 13:30. And I sat down on the computer to tell my dream to a buddy of mine. And I noticed this weird graphic on my monitor. And I looked at the clock and it was 11:11. I was still dreaming..

I went on the balcony and there were these.. black shades flying all over the place. And the stars were not bright at all. I was writing to people from my computer, trying to figure out how to get help and wake up.

And I saw three or four people, which materialized totally out of context and I was asking them and I really woke up.

I immediately recognized that this was the consistent reality of waking life I was used to and I had finally gotten out. Never the less, I was still quite disoriented and disturbed. Immediately wrote down the dream and wrote to this guy I know. The timestamp on the message is 6:38 AM

Here's what really freaks me out. I went to bed around 3:38 AM. I watched about 5 and a half episodes of American dad (the entire playlist) before falling asleep. 5.5*22=~121minutes= 2 hours. So I fell asleep around 5:38, woke up at around 6:38. This dream, which seemed to last eternity took place in the confines of an hour.

Strange stuff. Just felt compelled to share.

I don't suppose anybody has had any similar dreams?

I do remember having to wake up aloy but every time i would try to wake up id just pop up somewhere else. I had sleep paralisys everynight for a year or two and this was one of the many wacky dreams i had during that time. I broke down your dream a little bit tho...if you dont mind.
Perhaps the part about the plastic box and the woman was a reflection on our society. Women are completley valued and judged depending on how they look and are completley robbed of an identity ergo the faclessness (?). And the plastic boks with the small number of kets is a sign of wasted potential. In my opinion its because of lack of ambition because we are a "fully develpoed country"

Wow, I think you were down the spiral into the other realms. That was no ordinary dreamscape.

I'm not sure what you mean, exactly. Would you care to elaborate?

It is amazing how the perception of time can be distorted in dreams. I've had dreams that seemed like hours in the span of just a few minutes. It feels very strange.

Yes. Here's the real bogey - scientific studies show that time in dreams supposedly passes at the same rate as in waking life.

This is one guy who conducted such studies in REM sleep - med.stanford.edu...

But there is definitely the perception that an eternity has passed in a very small time span.

Perhaps this has to do with the intensity and dynamics of the dream reality or something. Who knows.

Really interesting and nice that you were able to write it down.

When I read it, I get a feeling I recognize. Very hard to describe but it feels so familiar.
I have a dream about 1 or 2 times every year. Can not really say what it is about, it is more a feeling.
It is like everything in the dream is fractals. My visions are fractals, feeling of touch, my hearing, my taste, my thoughts, everything..
I know it sounds really strange but it is the only way I can describe it. When I wake up from these dreams, I always have that "fractal feeling" for about 10 minutes.
When I read your text, I get somewhat the same feeling that I get when I wake up from my strange dreams.

Well some folk say there's a spiral to other levels i.e. the lower dimensions are where the demons live, the higher up you go the better the natives, till all the way up to angelic realms. It's said that when you leave your body you've entered this and can move up or down the levels, and it can happen when you dream too. There's even a level where you can talk to dead relatives. I think it's something spiritualists and the like might agree on.
It sounds kinda like you were stuck inside the "lift" and hitting all the buttons.

I 've had that happen to me a few times too. Each time I think I have finally really woken up "for real", then I notice a detail that is "off" and say "Oh no......still not awake!"

A while ago I woke in the morning to a very wierd atmosphere, perhaps just because a storm was coming, but everything felt so off I seriously kept wondering for hours if this was "real life" or if I was just dreaming again! But the day did continue, and it turned out I was really awake..... but I hate the way that has made me distrustful of my senses!

Not that many in a row, but I have had dreams where I go from one dream to another. It's only when I sleep too much. I've had at the most three separate dreams in a row that i can recall.

That's weird. At several points in the dream I had the sensation of being observed by some mischievous/sinister presence. And I talked to something, although I wasn't sure if anything was there/listening.

But yes, I have read about "lower" and "higher" astral planes, when reading about "astral projection".

The whole thing was rather depressing and sinister - the whole atmosphere. Including most of the people I saw. So I guess that would correlate to some "lower astral plane". I'm getting sick, I could barely breathe normally when I was going to sleep. Maybe that's worth considering.

I had a dream where I was looking at lights in the sky then I'm with the crew of Star Trek and I remember thinking - gosh they're really clear, I can see all their faces close up.

Then I began to hear a tinny voice some from nowhere. I was beginning to wake up and I cried out to the voice - is that you, xxx? I recognised it as a friend who had died suddenly a few months before.

He laughed and I knew it was him. Then, because I knew the dream was about to vanish, I hurriedly asked him for a message for his relatives, and he gave me one. I still didn't get to see him, only this tinny mechanical voice filling the air around me. I'll never forget it.

I know how this feels...unfortunately. Sadly for me mostly I have bad or scary dreams. But I always end up saying "this is a dream, wake up" before most of them get really bad. I do have good dreams sometimes, I think. I know I have tried to remember what they were immediately after waking up. I try to fall back to sleep so I could catch it again, but it never works. I have remembered very few good dreams, but remember every detail of the bad ones where I can't move after waking up. Good luck in figuring this all out. I am going to try and find some help for my weird dreams. But your's do seem cooler than mine. I would trade u. That aside, best wishes and I hope it doesn't get any more bizarre for sanity's sake.
