Well for a start intelligence agency's are a law unto them selfs in there retrospective country's and for those of you who are wondering why gaddafi has not spoke out about the west's dirty secrets ,need to understand documents like these don't just happen to land in the lap of Human Rights Watch workers ,in my opinion this is Gaddafi revealing the west's dirty little secrets.

This is the only way Gaddafi can reveal the west's dirty going on's ,and i bet there is more to come.

Trust me the british government will be fuming over this ...damage control will be in full flow ,and a panic that more might get revealed.

Moussa Koussa was the key to keeping all this silent ,it the reason he was forced to defect from the very start.

I totally agree with you. William Hague has refused to comment on these findings and as AF stated, it was removed from the news yesterday.

Somebody has applied the pressure. I'm just surprised that they reported it in the first instance. Normally things like this turn up on Press T.V, not on MSM.

ETA:- My bad, it's back on MSM. David Cameron has stated that the claims deserve investigating, but 'very careful' not to rush to judgment.

Maybe he should have shown a bit more resolve before sending in the Eurofighters?

It is the top story on BBC/ITV/Channel 4 News and BBC/Sky have been reporting on this continually since it broke. Telegraph/Guardian alone must have published at least a dozen articles linked to it and they're still churning them out, so in what way has it been "removed from the news"?

Yes as I said in my re-edited post it is back on today.

Maybe the papers have run with it today, but I did watch the news yesterday and there was no mention on the BBC or Sky.

Regards.

I first heard it break on Sky, it was on BBC/Sky until the early hours and ITV/Channel 4 earlier in the evening. Articles on the internet didn't go anywhere either as far as I am aware. Did you by any chance spend yesterday in an alternate universe?

No, I watched the news throughout the day yesterday.

This broke on Saturday and then no mention of it yesterday. The reason it is headline news tonight is because questions were asked in Parliament.

Nevermind, I won't get dragged down by by that. The thing is this entire episode wreaks of hypocrisy from the start, but hey, I don't really expect anything different, that's why I am here.

MG served his purpose, I am sure the Gibson Enquiry will reveal all, NOT!!!

I have to agree with Sossh, this was all over the BBC and Sky yesterday. To claim it wasn't is either meaning you weren't watching the news at all, or are hoping that your claims of it not being carried aren't challenged, much like your thread about the supposed "UN report says no HR abuses occurred", when in fact it says no such thing and wasn't even the report you claimed it to be.

That wasn't my Thread Stu.

A basic check of the threads I have created would have shown this.

If this is the extent of your research, then I suggest we should ignore anything you have to say in future.

Indeed... How much of a pleb do I feel now!

It would appear I got very confused, although I am not sure how... Thinking one thing and doing another I suppose.. In my defence, it was very early in the morning...

Please, accept my apologies for this error!

Apologies accepted.

At least you were gracious enough to apologise.

I know we disagree on a lot of things, but at least we agree on manners.
