Surprise surprise... NOT.

Libyan intelligence documents show ties to CIA

The CIA worked closely with Moammar Gadhafi's intelligence services in the rendition of terror suspects to Libya for interrogation, according to documents seen Saturday by the AP, cooperation that could spark tensions between Washington and Libya's new rulers.

The CIA was among a number of foreign intelligence services that worked with Libya's agencies, according to documents found at a Libyan security agency building in Tripoli.

One notable case is that of Abdel-Hakim Belhaj, commander of the anti-Gadhafi rebel force that now controls Tripoli. Belhaj is the former leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, a now-dissolved militant group with links to al-Qaida. Belhaj says he was tortured by CIA agents at a secret prison, then returned to Libya.

Two documents from March 2004 appear to be American correspondence to Libyan officials to arrange Belhaj's rendition.

"It can't come as a surprise that the Central Intelligence Agency works with foreign governments to help protect our country from terrorism and other deadly threats," Youngblood said. "That is exactly what we are expected to do."

Every tyrant and war criminal in history said the same thing... ``we did this to protect our country from terrorism``... Sorry IT AIN'T WORKING.

And he also says that it's a dark chapter in the CIA history... really? The CIA history is blacker then a black hole!

So what did the CIA do to this guy while they had him? I'm thinking
MK Ultra, some type of mind control. Why else would he be working
with them after being imprisoned and tortured by them?

It's my understanding that the UN found no human rights violations with
Libya. So why does this guy from the so-called Human Rights Watch
call them terrorists? What a shill.

Dark chapter in CIA history? That's funny. The CIA is a bleeding sore on
the ass of every American. I think the CIA's dark chapter is coming
to light. Libya's turning out to be a sore on the ass of the CIA and I think
our friends in the NWO are freaking out with the light shining on them,
exposing their secrets. The whole world is starting to realize what they are
about.

Libya is destroyed, will stay destroyed for another couple of decades.

The situation looks exactly like Afghanistan. Those who don't know, Afghanistan was like Libya, very modern and advanced compared to its neighboring Central Asian countries. Almost exact script was played out in Afghanistan.

1. Create anti-government militia, brain washed with intense propaganda. (What do I mean with brainwashed? Watch the video below)

2. Arm and train them.

3. Give them a safe haven.

4. Start propaganda campaign within the country.

5. When small unrest hits, start propaganda campaign outside country.

6. Turn the propaganda in to reality, militias are trained to do that.

7. Arm the people, create chaos.

8. Divide country, start the bloodshed.

9. Once divided, they start killing each other, the next step is easy, side with the weakest and invade the country.

10. The weakest side becomes the government and will become an automatic puppet because the weakest side will always need foreign powers to help them stay in power. That automatically means that the internal and external affairs of the new occupied country will be in the hands of the occupiers, even though a false perception is created that the government is actually comprised of the natives.

All of the above non-sense being said, why are they trying to create the perception that the Libyan Jamahariya was collaborating with NATO? Pretty obvious, another phase of the propaganda campaign.

Maybe they're not really disolved ....

just a name change !

Does anybody think maybe the rebel fighters are former LIFG ?

History

LIFG was founded in 1995 by Libyans who had fought against Soviet forces in Afghanistan. It aims to establish an Islamic state in Libya and views the Gaddafi regime as oppressive, corrupt and anti-Muslim, according to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. LIFG claimed responsibility for a failed assassination attempt against Gaddafi in February 1996, which was in part funded by MI6 according to David Shayler, and engaged Libyan security forces in armed clashes during the mid-to-late 1990s.[4] They continue to target Libyan interests and may engage in sporadic clashes with Libyan security forces.[5]

[color=limegreen]On October 10, 2005, the United Kingdom's Home Office banned LIFG and fourteen other militant groups from operating in the UK. Under the United Kingdom's Terrorism Act 2000, being a member of a LIFG is punishable with a 10-year prison term. The Financial Sanctions Unit of the Bank of England acting on behalf of HM Treasury issued the orders to freeze all their assets ..... LIFG

Maybe they knew they would be needed in Libya !
!

If al-Qaeda has ties to CIA and MI6 .... well ?

In March 2011, members of the LIFG in Ajdabiya declared to the press that the group supports the revolt against Gaddafi's rule, and had placed themselves under the leadership of the National Transitional Council. They also stated that the group had changed its name to Libyan Islamic Movement (al-Harakat al-Islamiya al-Libiya), had around 500–600 militants released from jail in recent years, and denied any past or present affiliation with Al-Qaeda.[21]

The emir of the LIFG, Abdelhakim Belhadj,[22] became the commander of the Tripoli Military Council after the rebels took over Tripoli during the 2011 Battle of Tripoli.

More and more I am starting to suspect that *al quaida* is joint op of MI6 and CIA. That seems to fit with all the inconsistencies since 911. I think if you're not very high up it is not always clear who you are actually working for.

here is some support

for his "new" name !!

given the date, it could be just "propaganda".......but

February 22, 2011

During a discussion on Israel Radio they just dropped this little tidbit. There is a Jew left in Libya. His name is Muammar Gadhafi. At first, I found it hard to believe, but when I Googled "Gadhafi's mother was Jewish" (without the quotes), the first three results all confirmed it. Gadhafi's mother was a Jewish woman who converted to Islam at the age of 9 or the daughter of a Jewish woman who left her husband for an Arab Sheikh. Those two narratives are not mutually exclusive. I kid you not...... You won't believe this... Gadhafi's mother was Jewish !

A year and a half ago, two Israeli women who claimed to be relatives of Gadhafi's were interviewed on Israel's Channel 2 television.
