Were talking about philosophy here. If were gonna keep the criticism respectable, try to syay away from saying stuff like "Beelzebub does indeed have devil set aside for Freddy Mercury ". However freddyv Mercury lived is Freddy Mercuries problem.

We live in a pagan society. Almost the entire music industry, the cult of individuality, and self worship, is based on the radical doctrine of Gnostic metaphysics. So they all express their personal philosophy through this music; not merely to "indoctrinate" us, although it undoubtedly perpetuates a particular archetypal reality, but its actually a strong feeling they have towards reality.

I dont personally agree with it, but its not nearly as malevolent as 'devil" worship, in how its usually portrayed to be. Perhaps whats so evil about it is the fact these people dont percieve it to be evil at all.

I seem to have a good sense for interpreting music, poetry ie; allegorical imagery........Heres my take on "bohemian rhapsody". Freddy Mercury = Mercury being the Roman Hermes, as you said, which corresponds to the archetype of the 'messenger', implying his role as a medium between a particular archetypal power and humanity ie; through his music he conveys a particular spiritual power

Bohemian is from the Hebrew Behema - animal. And a Rhapsody = An effusively enthusiastic or ecstatic expression of feeling.. Thus, the song is an effusively enthusiastic expression of the Bohemian/animalistic spirit.

Hence, this part of the song enters a sort of whimiscal melody. Thunderbolt and lightning, very very frightening is almosty said mockingly, as if to relativize its significance.

lol I spent 1 minute, and already found a flaw, they think angels are women, but no angels/Malak/messengers have always been male and will never be female. Looks like Satan just loves to twist everything.

Kabbalistically speaking, an angel is merely an energy between the emanator and created reality (the emenation) ie; a messenger. The active force - the Malakim - is the masculine. But what about the receptive force? The receptive force is feminine.

Masculine and feminine are very relative terms when speaking of the spiritual world. Its true that all active powers that come from god and affect man are 'masculine'. But its also true that powers which emanate from man are feminine, because they emanate from man. Hence, its said that Adam 'slept with demons' ie feminine spirits which were created after his fall.

On a darker note the entire Bohemian Rhapsody could be about a human sacrifice to to summon Beelzebub.

Get past the allegory of his AIDS, or even better incorporate it into the sacrifice and I think this fits the song just as well.

Where did you read that?

Do you know what Ba'alZebub means in Hebrew? Lord of the flies.

Conceptually, you could say the spirit of hedonism is akin to the lord of the flies. Hedonism is a complete submission of your soul to your body, and so causes your soul to become fetterred and spoiled by evil experiences/energies that lower you, to a level in which spiritual "flies" fly about you. The fly is a symbol for death; its very existence derives from waste matter. Thus, Ba'al Zevuv is a very repulsive archetype.

Was he singing to him? Or was the song nothing more than a metaphysical expression of a spiritual feeling? as the name suggests?

Its hard to say. Both are plausible. I know some people are really crass minded and find occultism - practical magick incredibly important. On the other hand, we might be over speculating, and transforming whats merely a philosophical feeling into a ritualistic summoning of Satan. . .

In either case, songs such as these, although very catchy, simply do not have a good content. The content of the song is antinomian, and indeed, people who listen to it will be unconsciously affected, because thats how were hardwired.

I hate that i like it. Its a frustrating thing. We have two spirits; two forces, always fighting for control of the ego and its functions. We can give into our lower side, and its selfish desires, or we can strive to be better.

If theres one concept i like in Islam, which i feel is also present in Judaism and Orthodox Christianity, is the concept of struggle. Life isnt meant to be a "follow your bliss", pagan crap that New Age philosophies peddle. That stuffs leads to the worse and most erratic excess; tantra etc. Rather, i feel our efforts in this world are for another purpose. I wrote a thread on it here A New World

You have made no sense at all. And to say the Adam slept with demons is a fabricated lie. No such thing happened, and have no idea where you pulled that out of. The Heavenly Father Yahuwah is a Man, Angels have always been men, Seraphim have always been men, Cherubim have always been men, and Lucifer ie Satan is a one of them. He is a man with lots of spiritual power just like all the other angels. But, Satan twists and distorts all truth, and he uses the demonic powers he has to push feminine empowerment. What do you think happened in the Garden of Eden? He didnt approach Adam, Adam knew better. He went after Eve, the weaker vessel, and wanted her to make her own choice without Adam. Satan has always been using women to bring down the fall of man, and using 'female angels' is just another ploy of his massive Deception.
