What a terrible idea.

Just what does the White House think it is doing with this?

Is this another form of SOCIALISM?

That crummy President - who does he think he is?

I think it is mighty suspicious he did this right after that vacation.

Listen to the beginning of this video and I defy anyone to tell me why marijuana should not be legalized with the same argument used to fight the criminality of prohibition. Only think the quality might go down and the price up so be careful what you wish for.

yay! i have a @%$load of petitions to start

Audit the FED
abolish the FED
disband CIA
disband ATF

make factory farms and factory slaughter houses illegal

stop corporate welfare in the form of farm subsidies to International Big AG
repeal the Patriot ACT
stop funding Black Military projects (all projects will then be subject to congressional scrutiny)

Well what a nice way to get names and possible addresses from all the anarchist that will probably be falling for this (White House "Generous" offer), I imagine that with the state of the sentiments running in this nation its going to be quite some angry people asking for the governments head in a silver platter.

Just be careful when the Gestapo police comes to your door and take you in the middle of the night for endangering the status quo.

S&F for you as I thought the very same thing as soon as I read about about this latest citizen-friendly initative from the WH. What a perfect way to root out the the balance of non-kool-aid drinkers that are not already being spied upon or on a domestic terrorist watch list. The only thing transparent in this administration is the race to the socialist finish line the elected one seems intent on achieving....

Interesting how the White House endeavor is targeting the younger generation as young as 13, I guess they want to squash the next round of "possible" anarchist as soon as they are able to take fly.

leave it to ATS to take something as simple as streamlining the petition process (whether they pay any attention to it or not) and turn it into another "I'm so important that they are trying to trick me into identifying myself" paranoia thread.

Petitions are a basic part of the civic process and providing an avenue for kids to get involved in that process in an electronic age is commendable. I know everything is supposed to be nefarious, but sometimes it's just innocent.
