... you mean this entire thread is about a Ron Paul supporter THINKING that someone is going to take offense at the name of his street?

And this is followed by a bunch of people saying; "Yeah, the MEDIA sure brings up superficial charges..."

How about addressing REAL charges -- rather than your own straw man arguments. Maybe the Racist charges are bogus -- but this is insulting. THIS is the kind of nonsense that actual racists conduct all the time. This topic has a "tin ear" when it comes to the slippery "I'm not a racist -- I just hate these Urban behaviors" -- NeoRacist of today.

I'm a white guy and the polar opposite of a "Bleeding Heart Liberal" -- but I have to say that Most of my "white, Conservative friends" -- are fricken racists. Once they get comfortable with you, the attitude comes out. Their biggest gripes are "affirmative action", "being soft on crime", and "welfare" -- as if these were HUGE and expensive issues of our day. Any joke about a woman's ass or a black man's behavior is much appreciated.

It would be one thing if there were a bit of balance -- but no, the white-washed issues you here on the radio get magnified when in private. The New Racism uses as much coded messages as the Evangelicals do when asking people to bring on "end times" -- it is pretty scary stuff when you figure out what is actually meant and what is said when Evangelicals think the are amongst true believers.

So do us all a favor and talk about real issues -- not PRETEND issues. Straw-man arguments, coded speech, anecdotal crimes, and urban myths -- it is typical of actual people who have a problem.
