A series of grenade blasts has rocked an opposition party rally in the Bangladesh capital, Dhaka, killing at least 13 people.
There were seven or eight explosions at the Awami League headquarters, as leader Sheikh Hasina addressed a crowd.
About 200 people were hurt in the blasts and the chaos that ensued, when angry crowds set fire to buildings and cars and were beaten back by police.

Many believe that the attacks were actually meant to be an assasination attempt on the former prime minister, Ms Hasina. At the time the attacks were
taking place, Hasina had just started speaking from the back of a truck to a crowd of 20,000 people.
There are also outbreaks of violence in about a dozen other towns and cities and security has been stepped up across the Bangladesh.
