Daryl Hannah Arrested in Front of White House - Environmental Protest

I heard about this on the news a short time ago....and I saw her being hand cuffed...she was smiling. I think it is wonderful when a high-profile person takes a stand for something they believe in. Their involved actions bring more attention about issues to everyone. This protest is about a pipe line that is planned to run from Canada to the U.S. gulf coast.

This doesn't suprise me. She has been on the front lines of environmental causes for some time now.... I think she stayed up in a tree for weeks to protest logging ( if my memory is correct)...

On a side note. I loved her in Splash with Tom Hanks!
