Outrage As Obama Names New Voter Initiative After ACORN: (Same old tricks.....)

Government watchdogs are blasting the Obama campaign’s decision to name its 2012 voter-registration initiative “Project Vote” — the same name as a group closely linked to the discredited ACORN organization.

Members of ACORN were caught on undercover video giving two supposed clients detailed instructions on how to commit fraud, and ACORN faced a number of voter-registration fraud cases following the 2008 election.ACORN-linked Project Vote is a Washington, D.C.-based 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports voter-registration drives in “historically underrepresented communities.”

Use of the Project Vote name by the Obama campaign is “truly astonishing,” Tom Fitton, president of the conservative Judicial Watch good-government group, tells Newsmax. “We knew President Obama was the president from ACORN. And if this isn’t an indication of it, we don’t know what is.”

The decision to employ the Project Vote name was clear in a recent email from the Obama campaign: "Project Vote will embark on a voter registration effort to maximize voter participation. Project Vote will drive our campaign strategy — from paid media, to digital outreach, to grassroots organizing and voter registration efforts — to communicate with and engage key demographic groups."

Well, as the story states... they know they won't be held accountable-especially by MSM or by the Justice Department.

Guess we can expect more Black Pathner types at the polls in 2012 also. Maybe some Union thugs-if any are left in the Obama camp by then.

Something tells me that Obama will go down in the history book as a corrupt and then impeached President.

Let them even attempt to put some Black Panthers at polling places in my neighborhood. This might fly in other parts of the country, but I guarantee it won't fly for 10 seconds in my neck of the woods!

This has nothing to do with the two retards standing in front of a Black polling station making sure no one kept Blacks from voting. Gimmie a break.

Oh, and you're not the only one who supports the 2A and where I come from, people who brag about what they got and what they gonna do with it don't last very long.

They go after the ones who can't vote LEGALLY also.

Google it. You can see all kinds of videos of them being caught in the act in 2008. Not to mention the court cases from around the country.

Although this is nothing new it just shows you can't change the stripes on a Zebra. I'm sure there will be all kinds of lawsuits and craziness coming out of this one too. I personally think Obama's political career is done for.

Well, you certainly hit a lot of the things/groups/types that I had racing through my mind. For sure. Man, you did put a "face" to the story.

thats interesting, during the 2008 election i was working for a temp agency, and the union for the facility i was placed in at the time may have been a party to this sort of thing.

i didnt think much about it at the time, it seemed that they contacted people who were unable to drive or something and take them to the polls. this is just based on people i talked to there, and such, so im not sure how reliable the information is. anyway what i heard, was that they had chartered a bus or something, and they went around picking up people, or ballots by proxy and then dropped them off at the polls.

i just thought they were some of those crazy over enthusiastic political nutjobs who volunteer and hand out bumper sticker type people.
