It's amazing the concept that Joe Citizen has about bikers. Thanks for the laughs.

I am a "hang-around" for a 1% club. (Just went to a benefit last Saturday night for a member at their clubhouse). 1% designation refers to the Hollister rally that got out of control and labelled by the AMA. 99% are law abiding, 1% are not.
1. Wives and girlfriends are not property of the club, unless they choose to be.
2. 1% does not mean they have killed for the club. But would protect their brothers by all means necessary.
3. They don't like to be called a gang. That was a label put on them by the federal govt. to classify them as an organized crime syndicate whereas making them eligible for RICO statutes.
Everything you need to get along with one you probably learned in kindergarden. Just give them lots of respect. The guys I have met are great people but are not tolerant of nosy wannabe bikers.
