Checkpoint by Nicholson Baker

I just found out about this intriguing book yesterday. The story is this, (which is why I posted it in the politics and scandals forum) two old high school buddies are talking and one is going to assasinate the president while the other is trying to talk him out of it. They talk about why the president should be assisinated and everything. No doubt this book is going to get some serious media attention soon.
