i can't agree. but, both are more capable vocalists than many artists we hear.
i give Madonna some credit for her longevity. hyping stardom & short shelf life is typical fare for large recording labels seeking the next phenom. so
many 'sensations' ( i lol inside while typing that ) have come & gone since the early 80's when Madonna first 'Border Line'd her way onto the
charts. Her management re-tools her pretty well time and time again, working hard to make a new character from a recognizable one while tossing in
something the media can call 'controversy'.
Lady Gaga is a rare Real McCoy but dressed in Wolf's clothing. The young lady is a bona fide talented musician - sings, plays, knows how to
read/write music. Going for the gold, they package her beyond belief and get the desired affect. It will grow old and retie but she will have a long
career.
Remember how Christina Aguilera used to be marketed? The name was made and the talent was sufficient for her to keep on keepin' on. Now she's
looking quite lady-like via 40's glam attire and giving us voice for days.
