The same deltasquad (SWAT) who took part in the action and arrest of Breivik on Utøya, had a full week training on a mobile terrorist attack in which one or more perpetrators only goal was to shoot as many people as possible and then shoot the police when they arrived. It is also said that the same squad finished a anti-terror excerise 25 minutes before the bomb exploded close to the prime minister office, the exercise was based on if a bomb exploded .. yes, close to the prime minister office.

In my opinion the Norwegian government definatly knew who Anders Behring Breivik was and what he was going to do, weeks before the event occured. Why didn't they stop him? So that the current Norwegian prime minister can win the election in two years?

Coincidenses are very rare,i do not believe in them. Someone needed this to happen,and i dont say they planed it,but they for sure knew about it.... It is just politics.... AP will win this time also,and the next time,that is why they let it happen. They(PST) KNEW about ABB,since March this year.... why didnt they arrest him and checked his farm? Same as they arrested some arabs on the streets in Oslo,and searched their houses and found nothing.... Fack politics....

I don't know much about the Norwegian "Deltaforce" (Beredskapstroppen), but according to Wikipedia, the force is based only in Oslo and consist of 71 people. I can't imagine they only have one team as they have to operate anywhere in Norway (including oil installations in the North Sea) when requested. They can be compared to the FBI Hostage Rescue Team.

Beredskapstroppen spend 50 % of their time training and preparing for missions, and the rest of the time they normally work like ordinary law enforcement in Oslo. For training in close quarters combat they often use a specially built city inside Rena military camp close to Rena which originally was built for training the Telemark Battalion and other military special forces.

According to Beredskapstroppen's web site, they conduct in average almost one armed operation every day. In 2004, for instance, they conducted 422 armed missions and only fired their weapons twice.
