Hi My names Mark.
Im still noob member but i have been trolling on this site for some time now.

Today i have a question for you ATS members.
Now I know that at night its supposed to be dark (no #). Usualy in my area the night sky has a tint of dark blue, but tonight I went out for a ride and i noticed that the night sky is pitch black. In fact I have never seen the night sky so black. I could still see all the stars and there was no clouds. I go out for i ride nearly every night and i swear that i have never seen the night sky sooo black even when the moon is a new moon (fully dark).

Now is it just me that noticed this or has anyone else noticed the same?

It might help if you posted which part of the world you live in, so people there can relate?

I haven't noticed that, but I have noticed that someone seems to have turned down the yellow in sunlight and turned up the white... I feel like sunlight was "warmer" in my youth

actually thats porbably your eyes getting older. as you get older doing things like looking at your screen or tv actualy burns ur retina. it happens over time and you don't notice it.

The Sun is so bright, it has turned white. Still haven't figured that one out.

The Moon is much brighter now, too. It's from chemtrails hazing over Earth's atmosphere and increasing the reflected light from the Sun. Maybe that absence of moonlight makes it appear so dark.

Either that or Nibiru is now upon us.

Dark days... Dark days, dark days...

wouldn't chemtrails block incoming light to the earth like the sun or moon? and reflect the light that is coming from earth back down?

I don't think i would work that fast. lol and it dosent affect your vision so u can still have 20/20 vision
I think i would take a lot longer. but if u want to speed it up just look directaly at the sun for a few hours. that would do the trick.

I have noticed alot of what several of you describe. White sunlight like never before! Brighter Moon !! And I seldom see the stars real bright as they were when I was a child. I live on the West Coast of The USA .. The spraying from aircraft dissipates and is a soft haze in the night sky, making the stars less visible. But sometimes I can tell the spray (Haze) has been blown away by the wind cause althouth it rarely happens the stars are brighter and easier to see in those rare occassions..

Thx for the thread!

me and a few people were outside the other night and noticed that there seemed to be WAY more stars in the sky than normal. so many, it was hard to locate the big dipper - which is usually pretty easy to spot, it's like astronomy for a kindergartener, lol. and then i had a conversation with someone after that (someone from this site) who said the same thing... that it seemed like there were more stars in the sky, it threw me since i had just had that same conversation days before. and from where i am it has nothing to do with light pollution or the sky being clearer - as my parents have lived here for 25 years, i have seen this same sky for many years on very clear nights, and we are sooooooo far out in the country there is absolutely no light pollution at all. i am in the middle of nowhere. a texas corn field. seems the nights they appear more abundant are the nights when you can see that cloudy looking strip across the sky, which i always thought was the edge of the Milky Way. I am not going to pretend to be an astronomy expert, so i dunno.

welcome, by the way!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this: maybe what you're seeing isn't really the night sky getting blacker, but an aura of something black heading our way o.0

All the blue in this picture represents water vapor detected by infrared from satalite.

On a moonless night, with high altitude clouds,
the stars will be absent and the sky
will appear very black.
