This whole thing is about people that aren't sure what to do with themselves and the system makes it too easy to make yourself appear crazy and get a bunch of attention. Some people will do anything for attention!!

Haha, that was the first thing that came to my mind, sounds an awful lot like the plot to John Doe.

He has been reunited with his family now. Police are not releasing any more details but he must have some kind of 'issue' going on. Here is an article with the update:

Too incredulous a story to begin with. Once again, another instance or situation where the sheeple are deprived or denied an actual accounting of facts, where the true seekers of truth and independent researchers who collaborate science, and information independent of "mainstream" reporting are able to fact-gather and assess the truth of a situation or at least hypothesize on their own individual scientific and independent thoughts that do in fact contribute to science. Those who wish for "supporting evidence" from the media and the web as the ultimate source and confirmation of truth are continually deceived by the "unreliables, in-deniables" of mainstream media, reporting nothing but the non-truths, and nothing but the untruth, in addition to distracting the sheeple from investigating and searching the truth of what is really taking place or happening.

Police have appealed for help in identifying a man who claims he woke up on a beach with no memory of himself or his family. Unidentified man who woke up on Deal beach

The man speaks with an English accent and says he does not remember his name The man, who appears to be aged in his late 50s or early 60s, walked into the Victoria Hospital in Deal, Kent, suffering from head pains and amnesia.

Police said he has no obvious injuries and it does not appear he has slept rough for any length of time. The man - who speaks with an English accent - claims he does not remember his name, his family, where his home is or any other personal details.

He told officers he woke up on the beach at Deal on August 17 and asked for directions to the hospital. Police have checked missing persons files with all forces but found no one matching his description. The man has a large build and was wearing black Wrangler jeans, a white T-shirt and patterned sweatshirt when he arrived at hospital.

Sky news Report

hmmm this is interesting, makes you think where did this guy come from, where or "when"? Could be a time traveller that went wrong, or an abductee?

Also if you forget everything, no idea what your name is, where you’re from, and who your family is. Surly you would forget how to talk????

He drank to much and banged his head big deal. We are all time travelers just at a very slow rate. Peace

Um has anybody yet posted that there's a possibility that he has a severe case of Alzheimer? Really guys? A time traveler? Alien? I believe in both traveler and alien existence but just because an old fart doesn't remember things doesn't mean he's either or.

This is the only thread that immediately made me think of one word:
Bull.
Not trashing the OP just the idea of complete memory loss. Nah I don't buy it. Its something like science fiction.
Many of the older pschological terms and ideas aren't in use today. Amnesia is such a rare occurence that I am automatically inclined to call BS at its utterance.

Excluding Alzheimers...
