What are the chances that both the Colorado and Virginia EQ's happened on the 37 N latitude?

Some may call this a coincidence, I don't. Look at this perfectly straight line from both EQ's today:

earthquake.usgs.gov...

Going further, guess where did the 03/11/11 Japan EQ hit?

Guess where the New Madrid fault is?

Guess where San Francisco/San Andreas is?

Guess where Mount Etna is?

If you said the 37 latitude you guess right!

That doesn't make any sense, logically speaking.

If I throw 100 coins in the air, and they all land heads up, does that mean it's a "pretty high chance" that such a thing would occur? Statistically, it would be a 50% for each coin, that isn't "very high".

Here's a relatively speaking recent compilation of Colorado's earthquake history:
CO earthquake history.

Also in Virginia, there were two moderate earthquakes in 2003:
4.5 in VA - 2003

3.9 in VA - 2003

Earthquakes happen, Earth is a dynamically changing object.

Also, what about all those quakes in the west? Or what about all those quakes in Alaska that form a line on the Aleutian islands? Conspiracy!!!

We have earthquakes because it is a natural occurrence, just like our automobile engines vent through the exhaust pipe. If we didn't have quakes or volcanoes the Earth would explode, because it has no way of venting pressure. So if you live in those spots where Quakes or Volcanoes occur then just deal with it. Its suppose to happen....

Hmm Colorado was 2.5 miles deep and happened at 5:46 UTC 37.070°N, 104.700°W
Mineral, VA was 3.7 miles deep, happened at 17:51 UTC @ 37.936°N, 77.933°W
I wonder if something went off in the tubes (tunnels)?
VA is currently having after shocks.

The coin could land on it side as well, so more like a 33.3333333333333% chance. I get what your saying though. Is there a graphic, or site where thease ananomalies can be proved to be on the 37 degree latitude, checking google Earth right now.

It's an interesting question for sure. Please add you comments to the existing thread, found here.
