Even though it turned out to be a major bummer, everyone seemed to have a lot of fun with the 8/3/11. Seriously doubt this one has anything to do with that one, though.

If you google the date, it is another date for the end of the Mayan calendar. Some argue that this is the actual end of the cycle.

As far as creepy, a few days ago there was a phone number listed on it and people who called it got some rather interesting responses. Did [you] bother to highlight any of the page?

Whoa, I think we really misinterpreted the meaning of this crop circle...

Either than that, this website is probably another hoax just like the 8.3.11 website

If you save the two images they are titled as "light_putin" for the hand with the flame, the Shhh gesture is labeled as "down".

Also take note of the small symbol in the bottom left corner of the down image.
