www.youtube.com...

Judge for yourself, I have had several conversations with the person who made this video. I know this is not fake but have no idea what it is. One is stationary and the other one comes and joins it.

you got me

that reminds me of something i saw as a kid.

laying in the front yard in the winter looking at the stars...one star moved across the sky and hit another one, then went off in another direction (that's how i used to describe it as a kid)

i later realized that stars can't do that..lol

for years i figured it was a shooting star that broke apart in the atmosphere (but i always knew in the back of my head that was not the case)

this vid is very close to what ever it was i saw 27 years ago

Ive seen something VERY similar to this. I saw it at night though. Freaked me out a bit to be honest.

BUT

My guess is....satellites or space junk. I know the guy says its not, BUT he doesnt know what they are so they could well be.

There are stationary satellites and ones that orbit, geostationary i think the stationary ones are called.

There are thousands of the things above our heads....and they dont stop during the day lol

You can't see geostationary satellites. They are too far away.

It could have been a star, or planet, and a low earth orbiting satellite that coincidentally appeared to pass in front of it. There's no reason it couldn't have been.

I beg to differ on the point about not being visable

Some are visible from earth...others are further out.

20,000 miles above sea level is approximately where they sit

woah baby.

That was interesting.

What else could that have been? anyone?

I'm serious, what the heck is that?

I've seen this before. I've seen them intersect with each other, "zoom" erratically in different directions and change speeds. Normally, I've seen this at night. They are very reflective objects.

I still don't understand the relatively large group of people who deny the existence of UFOs. I don't know what they are, but it is definitely fascinating and the sightings are continuing to increase daily...

I dont deny UFO's....there are millions of them....Unidentified Flying Objects are NOT rare.
You may not be able to tell what it is, which makes it a UFO by definition, it doesn't mean they are extraterrestrial though...normally satellites, planes, balloons...CGI...

There are plenty of ways/programs that track the orbit of satellites. As is, there are also numerous programs to monitor the planets. Many people think Venus is a UFO when they first see it. But when you show them Stelarium for example they quickly realize they were mistaken...it was a planet.

I believe there is intelligent life in the universe (not only us) but im skeptical as to whether they would waste all that time and energy to come to such a hostile place like our home planet.

I think these are clearly satellites, if we knew where he lived i could say for certain. (track the satellites)

Aliens....of course its aliens....the only things in the sky is aliens....the only thing with lights in the sky is aliens....whoa your onto something here

Why not do a little research....discount all terrestrial crafts THEN think about the aliens

I have seen the same thing occasionally but I think they are just stars rather than a UFO or intelligent craft. I think people misinterpret stars to be UFO's because some have different sizes and some are brighter. In all honestly I've even done it myself but after sitting outside with a cuppa and fag I could see that what I was seeing was just stars - some shooting, some just static. So, unless I have a massive UFO base above my house then its safe to say what is in the video and the things (stars) we interpret as being UFO's are simply stars.

Definitely not denying the fact that they could be satellites and such-I'm not one to jump to conclusions; however, I'm an avid stargazer and I have tracked the satellites and ISS on multiple occasions and I have seen an outrageous number of unexplained things. But that's all they are, unexplained. Some day we will have the answers...I hope.

Just out of curiosity, what could the object be streaking diagonally across the video at about the 40sec mark. That is seriously moving.

Cheers

Holy cow! Is that from one of the large telescopes, or just from a whole sky cam? And how come I've never seen these stationary flashing lights in any other sky cam I've watched?

Some information about geosynchronous satellites: www.satobs.org... I would change my statement to be that they are not normally visible to the eye, but I guess the setup in the video could have worked.

good spot! I hadn't noticed the one going from top left to bottom right until you mentioned it, that one is going at speed.... I'd only noticed the one coming in from the top right and the stationary one.

That being said I think it could well be two birds and a star.....

Magnetflipper is a chronic hoaxer.

Satellites and stars do not only come out at night. They are there during th daytime to.

His videos of bugs, birds, bats , planes and satellites should be banned from this forum.

Satellites does not differ from their flightpaths, nor do they slow down or accelerate. The objects in the video does deviate from what you expect to see from satellites. I'm inclined to believe they are birds. Due to earlier empirical evidence showing the same types of movement, and apparent "blinking" which is in reality just wings flapping, leads me to believe that they are birds.

I would appreciate if anyone is able to zoom in on the objects, and create a video of it, would do so. This would provide a better basis for an understanding of what we're looking at.

It is interesting, and for the sake of trying to identify it (them) it has to be noted--as the magneticflipper dude alluded--that he's shooting high-speed video which slows the objects down,

Nothing intrinsically wrong with that for study purposes, however it does give a false impression of how an object moves. We've all seen the nightvision videos of bats and birds misidentified so just keep that in mind.

Still and all, that was some of the more interesting footage I've seen lately.
