Disclosure!! My thoughts

I've been thinking, why there is no disclosure. lots of people seen ufos and all kind of unindentified crafts. What if the aliens are watching us constantly, maybe they have high tech equipment for spying us. what if government think that the threat is real and thats why they not telling us anything, and in secret they preparing themself for attack of the aliens

If they disclose extraterrestrials and UFOs it would cause a collapse of the Abrahamic faiths since they are Earth centered religions ie God created the Heaven's and the EARTH. God formed man from the clay/dirt of the Earth. Jesus Christ died for MANS sins, etc.

That would be a pretty big hole left due to the moral and spiritual collapse that those religions fill in peoples' daily lives.

Even secular people would freak out. Look at the War of the Worlds radio broadcast where people when out and shot at water towers thinking they was the Tripods! Such an announcement would rip society apart. You have to keep in mind most people wont recline back in their chair and think about the religious and philosophical issues it creates knowing their is a more advanced species of creatures out there besides us. Most people are stupid and wouldn't be able to handle the implications of such knowledge and would riot.
