I have a question and it isn't in any way at all meant to criticize your video. Your video only made me think of the question.

People often claim to see UFO's and then helicopters shortly after. If UFO's truly exist and our government is truly chasing them, why are they chasing them in helicopters? Most UFO's reported can fly at amazing speeds yet the fastest helicopter on Earth flies under 300 mph. That's like chasing a race car on a bicycle. I don't get it. In no way at all am I insinuating that this isn't happening, because it's reported fairly often, but WHY??? If the fastest fighter jets we have can't keep up with them, why chase them with choppers?

A good question.

But the ET "why" questions are too easy to answer.

Since we don't know why ET are visiting, or pretty much anything about them, you can just make up whatever you'd like.
Maybe the helicopters are simply escorting the UFO.

Like that, I could make up anything and it would work.

1. Our military is pursuing an unknown object in our airspace.
2. Our military is simply tracking, or possibly safeguarding, it's latest secret technology.

I think #1, however, I also think that the "unknown object" was probably a balloon with some kind of reflecting mylar or metal on it. It shows up on radar, goes down, maybe in a restricted area. They send over some helicopters to check it out, possibly at the request of the FAA. That's kind of their job. They don't find anything.

Just wondering about the statement at the 2.13 mark in video, 'These are people that do not officially exist' ,& arrows pointing to the helicopters.
How does he know this?
Did he ring the air force or another aviation dpt?
I was a bit confused when this popped up...

Witness report: i saw the ufo at about 6:15 am went back inside..at about 7 am the house shook.. i ran outside saw multiple low flying unmarked helicopters flying at about 100 feet above the telephone poles were i had filmed the object...they were obviously investigating the ufo..

Boy I just hate it when people draw erroneous conclusions and state them as if they should be "obvious" to anyone
He saw some kind of glowing orb that was too far away to identify, so OK, we'll call it a UFO but that only means it's unidentified, it could be something conventional like a weather balloon or hot air balloon, we just don't know what it is. Then 45 minutes later 3 helicopters fly by. What is the connection? None. End of story. Saying that they were "investigating " the UFO is total speculation, and probably wrong.

That "UFO" is either a Chinese lantern, or a balloon with the sunlight reflecting off of it. Either way, there's no proof that these helicopters are chasing anything.

Off to the HOAX bin with this one.

Ok everyone talking about how the weather is different in the video of the helicopters than the one of the orb, for one he said it was 45minutes after he filmed the orb. For 2 if you ever lievd in Colorado then you would understand how fast weather can change. We ca go from 90% out here to it being 50% and raining in a matter of minutes.

All the video editing done to it makes me suspicious of this...

The bright flashes to cut scenes, the fade to black around the ufo around 1:25, the music...seems pretty professional. People can edit thier video's any way they want but in such a controversial field as this I would keep all the extra's minimal.

idk just my opinon

And I hate it when they use dramatic music, its hard to take anything serious when they do that. It harms ufo research I think.

It's written directly in the first sentence of the OP's quote in the first post, so yes, I'd say you missed something really basic, such as reading the first sentence, however I don't think you are a complete idiot because you are interested in learning, conversing and seeking truth. That is a noble effort and I don't say that just because I can include myself in it.

"i saw the ufo at about 6:15 am went back inside..at about 7 am the house shook."

So 45 minutes passed between the time of the UFO and the time of the helicopters.

You are seeing a film edit for time elapsing. If helicopters could materialize instantly where ever a UFO is sighted, they would be must more important and frightening than the UFO itself.

I agree but that is something each and every individual who posts a UFO video would have to be told. What I am saying is, it's this way and it always will be. Only an experienced UFO community member knows that, and seeing a true blue UFO is a very rare occurance.
edit on 8/19/2011 by DieBravely because: some black helicopters appeared and made me do it.

Jesus H. Is every other person on this site an illiterate boob? How many people have failed to notice the text explaining that the helicopters showed up 45 minutes after the first video was shot? It seems people are just reading the title and watching the video. The explanatory text is there for all to see. Holy eff.

Interesting video w/ a few issues both negative and positive.

1. I'd like to get the unedited footage, original or high res copy if possible. As others have mentioned, the music and editing almost ruins the evidence (does ruin it, actually. Besides looking very suspicious all this little production does is make me want to see the original footage and convince the owner to delete his Youtube version).

2. The UFO
The UFO looks right, intensity and color are correct, same for the object's movement (what little of it can be seen in between all the pan / zoom / shake the camera / play w/ the editing software crap). I'd know that shade of red anywhere, it's even better at low altitude or on / just above the ground.

3. The Helicopters
I can't rule out the credibility of the helos based on the 45 min delay. It's all subjective - how far away is / are their base(s), were they already in the air and in formation when the UFO was detected / reported, were they dispatched to the location in response to a radar or observer report, etc?

The multiple helos and pattern does fit. The usual investigative flight / intercept involves multiple helicopters and jets. This gives the military multiple options -

A. If the visitor has landed the helicopters are the best option to try and surround the craft (around and above).

B. If it's still in the air, and if they get very lucky and get everyone in place before it bolts, the jets will take up a racetrack pattern around the object at a specific distance while the helos come in and "close the box" by attempting to descend from above the craft and "encourage" it to come along to the nearest safe base to land. More dramatic and exciting attempts are sometimes made to push the craft into landing wherever possible.

Examples of this process were seen in Stephenville (failed horribly) and Indiana (as seen on UFO Hunters in the sonic boom and jets chasing UFO episode). The craft in that incident managed to slip the cordon and escape, the craft(s) in Stephenville managed to stay a step or so ahead and the military wasn't able to fully establish an intercept. It was a decent try, however and made us aware of a tactic of using two or more jets to "chase" a UFO into a preset intercept area where the other jets and helos were waiting (as well as ground crew apparently).

I know it sounds wild but some of us have put a lot of time into investigating this process and feel very confident the next time something happens near one of us we'll be able to hop in a car or two w/ cameras and be able to get some neat footage (now that we know the game plan and what to look for / where to go).
