Sunspot 1271

I just checked out the Nasa app "3D sun" again and they have this update about sunspot 1271:
"Sunspot group 1271 has developed a 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field that harbors energy for powerful X-class solar flares."
We'll probably see some earth-directed action in the next couple of days.

Yes, I guarantee we do.

Probably won't be life changing solar flares though, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

I saw that too. Worrying times. I managed to find this earlier regarding rays.

Seems armor plate wouldn't help much if we're talking about the latter
