A Real Superhero For The 21st Century

This isn't a Ron Paul thread, I swear.

So I'm watching an HBO doc entitled "Superheroes" and thinking to myself what possesses these guys (and a couple gals) to make bright costumes and go unarmed -at most armed with a taser- to actually patrol 'bad neighbourhoods'.

If you want to protect people and take out criminals why not join the police force?

Now I am a huge comic book fan, and I also understand the reason why people gravitate towards superheroes. (Besides the cool powers/abilities of course.) It's our inherent desire to have to ability to change society for the better; to be able to stand up for the way things should be and to be free of corruption and tyranny.

That said, I want to know if you were able, what would be the first one or two things you would do if you did have the means to accomplish any task, uncover any truth, take anyone down, etc. ?? How would you do it? And why?

I would expose and destroy socialism/communism/progressivism in all of it's evil forms. I would stand for Truth, Justice, and the Constitutional Way.

Well if i had powers like say, for example superman, i would fly over to area 51 and use my x-ray vision first thing, if i saw something supsicious i would go down there and talk to them and say plainly that i will expose this, and if they try to shoot me i would laugh in their face as their bullets bounce of me.

Next thing i would go to the moon and check the dark side if there is any alien base there or not, to debunk this.

Basically i would start confirming/debunking every conspiracy theory there is and make it public.

It´s just retarded how much time is spent by people on these forums, because we have to, because we are curious for the truth, when we could do something entirely more constructive with our time if we got the actual facts spelled out once and for all, don´t you think?

How convenient you left out capitalism and corporatism. The things the right forced on this country. If you want to get rid of things that don't work get rid of all of them.

Actually, free market capitalism works. I agree with you on corporatism though. Corporations should not have the rights of people imo.

I would use my invisibility powers to watch chicks take showers.

I would start doing nice things, like taking icebergs to dry arid regions and dropping them in the area for water, cleaning up dirty lakes, demolish inner city building in rundown areas and plant trees and build parks for kids....etc

Then, for the fun stuff, I would take down North Korea, Iran, and Libya. Then I would threaten China with destruction if they didn't bring freedom and human rights to their country.....then

I would fly back to North America and hunt down and kill all the pedophiles that had done things to little children....then I would built a fortress in the North fashioned after blueprints from Superman's pad....

i would like to see them the colombian cartel and see how that turns out.

This is how I would do it. I would become undetectable by any type of sensors and multiply myself by however many and however long I needed to(hopefully not too long) and I would sit in on all their conversations and meetings with legit note-taking and invisible cameras and they would follow every politician around without their knowledge and then when I finally got the truth of their crimes, I would go public with it and the "Army of the People of the World" or A.P.W.(if you will) would put them in prison for their crimes.
They would have to live their life out in regret for all their heinous crimes and destruction of innocent lives. The people of the world out number the leaders of this world. A lot of the military are still people...right??

I would rule this world with an iron fist, and bring the fear of God back to this forsaken rock. I would start with destroying the porn industry, followed by the use of illegal drugs, selling of illegal drugs, and i would order the deaths of every druglord. I would then move to executing criminals held in prisons if they had been convicted of murder, rape, child molestation, aggravated assault, and robbery. The only way to fight crime is to destroy it at its source when it is brought to light. I would publicly execute criminals and enforce mandatory televised viewings of their execution and send a clear message to would be criminals "if you commit these crimes and are caught, you WILL die. No more mercy, no more excuses, no more living on societies good graces". Trial's would be held that day, and once convicted they will be promptly sentanced and hanged the next morning.

I would then require all internal affrairs bureau's from each police department to record and keep detailed tabs on each officer and arrest them if they are corrupt, whence they will then be tried and if convicted, hanged the next day.

There would be no mandatory religions, but muslims and an other extremist groups will be closely monitered by terrorist task forces, and if terrorists are found, there will be no trial, they will be executed on sight promptly and disposed of by the task force.

There will be no corruption in the governments, if corruption and duplicity are discovered there will be no trial, only a prompt execution and their corpse will recieve an unmarked burial and all traces of their names will be removed from history.

Babies will not be allowed to be terminated without undue cause or to save the mothers life. If women get pregnant they will raise that child and be responsible adults. There will be a limit to how many children each family may have and that number shall be no greater than 2, if one or both children die they may not have any others, but they will able to adopt children who have lost both parents.

On paper free market Capitalism works in reality it doesn't. The reason it doesn't work in reality is because on paper you can't figure in the human greed factor.
