Does GOP parity help Ron Paul?

I realize it's way early, but does candidate parity within the GOP help Ron Paul?

Currently, Bachmann Romney Perry as well as Paul are holding the lead in the polls. But is it possible that come primary election time this will skew the percentages in way that will help Paul win.

I do not really understand the primary process all that well. But I would assume the establishment candidates will take votes away from each other, while Paul's very strong and growing base might be able to squeak one out.

I mean will 27% of the vote win it for him with so many other "strong" candidates.

I think this is all planned to take our minds off the Democratic party (you have to admit, we are on a conspiracy website). When is the last time you heard MSM talk about democrats?

Yes, it does help Ron Paul. In an interview, Paul was asked how Perry's entering of the race affects him and he said that it would just help him. Basically because it will splinter the votes that are for the status quo candidates.

I think the opposite effect will be the case!

If there are 3 other strong candidates then that will deflect votes on a 3 to 1 basis away from Paul. Thus, one of the other 3 will be the winner. And I suspect it will be Bachman or Perry but think Backman which could then lead to a possible situation where you have 2 ladies teaming up for whitehouse 1 & 2 jobs!

Of course its all speculation!

It is possible that the media are under instruction to hold back at this time to see how much ground Paul can make without their help! And then the media could end being a game changer. I dont know. Its watch and see and speculate at the moment!
