French farmers ransack Spanish fruit trucks laden with cheap imports as fallout from E.coli crisis r

For some reason major news media is not reporting this, only the Daily Mail:


French farmers have begun attacking shipments of fruit and vegetables from Spain as an international crisis rips through the European agriculture industry.

Huge losses suffered by Spanish farmers during the E.coli crisis has led to them slashing the prices of their produce, undercutting the native growers in France by as much as 40 cents a kilo.

That has led to angry scenes with members of the French farmers union (FDSEA) breaking into Spanish fruit trucks and throwing the loads onto the ground, destroying entire cargos of fresh edible fruit.

Good for them..Take care of your own first. Why should imports be allowed if the French farmers are producing high quality stuff..I'm SICK of these undercutters. Let the food rot. I support the French!

It is sick...but isn't it more cruel to start feeding them and vaccinating them just to end up with the same situation 5-10-20 years from now? If you want to feed them and take care of them you MUST invest in sexual education and effective birth control for the people. That's not going to happen so the only thing we can do is let nature take it's course and not play "GOD"..we are already having a tough time playing "police"..we cannot afford to be the do-gooders and evil mongers of the world. They NEED population control either chemically or naturally..

The reason why it is not widely reported is because French farmers do this all the time. They frequently burn, smash, dump or spoil any foodstuff which takes their fancy.
