Rick Perry believes that Social Security and Medicare are unconstitutional. I think his ability to understand the reading of the constitution raises questions. It clearly states that Congress has the power: "to lay and collect taxes" and to "provide for the general welfare of the United States......

I apologize for this post. I posted incorrect information about Mr. Perry regarding these issues. It is Ron Paul who holds these views. Please forgive me!!
We should understand that Social Security was intended primarily to prevent old widows from becoming
destitute. Life expectancy in 1935 was only about 65, when there were several workers for each Social Security recipient. The program was never intended to be a general transfer payment from young workers to older retirees, regardless of those retirees’ financial need. Yet today Social Security faces an unfunded liability of approximately $18 trillion.
First, Congress needs to stop using payroll taxes for purposes not related to Social Security, which was a trick the Clinton administration used to claim balanced budgets. Second, Congress should eliminate unconstitutional spending – including unnecessary overseas commitments – and use the saved funds to help transition to a Social Security system that is completely voluntary. At some point in the near future Congress must allow taxpayers to opt out of federal payroll taxes in exchange for never receiving Social Security benefits.
It’s time for Congress to face the fundamental problems that affect Social Security and Medicare, and show the courage necessary to make real changes to both programs by rejecting the welfare/warfare state.

What bothers me most is that Stephen Colbert is endorsing him so openly.
NEW YORK — Stephen Colbert 's latest attempt at campaign mischief-making involves encouraging Iowans to write in a false name during the weekend's presidential straw poll.
Colbert, who formed a "super PAC" this year and won approval from the Federal Election Commission to begin taking contributions, is encouraging Iowans to vote for "Rick Parry" during today's test vote for Republican presidential candidates.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry, with an "e," signaled his intention to join the GOP presidential scrum Thursday but is not on the straw poll ballot. Voters are able to write in candidates. The comic, who portrays a mock political talk host on his Comedy Central show, produced two television ads through his PAC, laden with images of corn and farms, asking for the "Parry" vote. "That's 'Parry' with an 'a' for America, an 'a' for Iowa," one ad says. The Associated Press

Unless Dr. Paul wins the nomination, we will have two candidates: Suck (Obama) and Fail (Perry). For the first time in my voting life, I may not vote. And I hate it.

People that can make their own decisions shouldn't vote anyway.

When it comes down to Obama vs Perry, I will voting for Perry. It will be nice to have a Christian, who was born in the United States again.

This guy is the ultimate fake. I have been watching him for years. In fact, I have personally seen him in action.
He is absolutely hated by so many people that coincidentally have NO voice...farmers, rural people that have had their land "imminent domained" by this man. All for PRIVATELY OWNED TOLL ROADS. Yes, they contributed heavily to his campaigns for governor.
He is a fraud. He is a CFR man, a tool for Israel. That is precisely WHY he found RELIGION.
Make no mistake people, you can't work hard enough to keep this crap out of office.
