Perhaps one of the most completely useless (and in violation of the T&C's of this site) threads is the
"go watch this youtube video" thread, with no other content provided by the OP.

For various reasons, many people cannot watch videos.
At my workplace, just to list one example, youtube is blocked.

I know the situation of Fukushima is bad.

But why they are building nuclear reactors there in the first place??

Politics! This is capitalist gains at its baddest. It is unfortunate though that after this tragedy, so many people of all over world, will consider that nuclear power is terriblé. Not so - it is a good solution, if built in the correct places.

This situation of Fukushima is not so much one of social obligations as it is of politics.

Sterility, death, hair and tooth loss and so on. We know Fukushima will kill us, okay ? I don't need to be reminded of my grim future.

I wonder what backlash there would be towards government authorities and the MSM if every person in the world (exaggeration but you get me) saw this video. Very informative and well made, lays the facts out straight and simple - a lot more grim than actual fear mongering and sensationalism.

i did like that video, not cos i found it scary i found it to be rather consistent of scare tactics and the music was awfull.

And that video is crap, non-truthful. Russia was having much more than the USA. As were many other nations. The USA was not in leading the way, but it retaliated very forcefully. Wilson's politics.
