ISRAEL has set up a military cyber command to wage a computer war against Iran as senior officers become increasingly concerned that a conventional attack on Tehran’s nuclear sites could end in failure.

The new cyber command will report directly to Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu who has placed the program at the heart of Israel’s defense capability, UK newspaper The Sunday Times reported.

Doesn't this prove that the world governments are screwing us. Hard!

Evidence in the press shows it is useless to take out military action using traditional weapons. So lets take out the oppositon with computer / cyber tactic.

Lets also admit it in advance. lets admit that this is how we are going to do war.

What other evidence is needed to reveal the truth?.

May not be new news, but it is clear evidence.

Today, we can now wage war and win it without just one canon's shot. A keybord is sufficient.

If Israel can succeed in a cyberwar against Iran as a more preferable method than using the military...I say good on them. Proceed!

I would much rather a "cyber war" then tradition war.

Aslong as the cyber dosent provoke a traditional war. What will the iranian tyrany do when military, oilindustry and "governmental secrets" is hit by this invisible enemy?

Quote from the link in post 1:

“Israel has two principal targets in Iran’s cyberspace,” said a defense source with close knowledge of the cyber war preparations.

“The first is its military nuclear program and its military establishment. The second is Iran’s civil infrastructure. Attacking both, we hope, will cripple the entire country’s cyberspace.”

Everything runs on computers, a decade of hard work can be sabotaged with an insertion of a USB stick. It is the future critical warfare technique and N-Korea (which is an ally of Iran), is very well prepared for.

So, according to the definitions of the USA Israël and Iran are officially in a hot war now?

I guess it depends on how this develops but the ball is definately rolling.

I wonder what the USA would do when bombs start flying between Teheran and Jerusalem?

This is something we will see in our lifetime, I am sure.

It is only a matter of when.

You're talking about Israel here. They can get away with the blood of millions and the world would still turn a blind eye.

That would be the best use of the one bomb if they ever get it....

Imo Iran now has all the right in the world to respond to this attack (even the USA would do so, no double standards allowed) and i wonder if they will.

Is this just Israel trying to poke Iran into the first "explosive" move so they don't look as the agressors?
