the POINT of afrocentrism in the first place - upliftment of a people that have and still are being suppressed

Yeah I get the idea but you don’t uplift yourself by saying you did something you did not, that’s like cheating in an exam and then boasting about your grades...deal with it, the Egyptians built the pyramids and yes the proof is all in there.

Actually, why would ANYONE believe you when you can't even properly spell? And you're here trying to offer "scientific" evidence of something that happened thousands of years ago? Get real, you're clueless.

Albert Einstein couldn't do basic math so what's your point. And if anyone is a racist in this thread it's you.

I totally appreciate the time and effort you put into the research and post, but really, who cares?

I'm sorry, but the historical record is absolutely immaterial to life today. Might be interesting, might not be interesting. If anyone is basing their self-worth upon who built the GD pyramids they got deeper troubles.

But I take your point - I still get angry when folks don't admit that Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy are black.

I'm not disputing who built the pyramids. I know the ancient Egyptians are basically the same as Egyptians nowadays.

But also, black Africans from the Kingdom of Kush did conquer Egypt and for a time ruled it. And these people from Kush also built their own pyramids as well.

Yeah I know, there called "Afrocentrics" and the reason its flawed as a method to uplift black people, is because it is based on total dishonesty which in the end will be widely known to others (like me, and you if you read the op)

You see if you want to build a house you build it on a good foundation, the Afrocentric house is built on shaky ground which is why it is doomed to come crashing down.

Why do you always pull the race card?Pathetic read/watch the videos etc.Why mention Norway -running scared muslim?Do you not find afrocentric ideas racist or would that mess up your view that racism is for white men?Personally I think that everyone is racist in one way or another or you are a liar!Your post contributed nothing except hate, going on like you are against ad-hom. attacks when your post is a perfect example hidden under the gise of calling out racism.Good thread and an interesting read/watch.

No you either didn’t read the op or didn’t understand it, what bothers me is people proudly calming that they did something that science has proven they didn’t

Sigh.

Who's science?

As I said not all black Africans are calming that they built the pyramids etc just the afrocentrists...sorry your allowing those emotions of yours to cloud your thinking

Grow up, I would not speak to a nazi presenting me "scientific evidence" of something as an equal. Emotion? I think you let your emotion push you to make a thread like this, rather than using logic and understanding the POINT of afrocentrism in the first place - upliftment of a people that have and still are being suppressed. That's why I say; I've NEVER in my life come across a more logic-starved, common knowledge handicapped people than racists.

Take care, you'll need it.

Why do you call Dr. Zawi Hawass a Nazi?
Please excuse me if I spelled his name wrong.

I thought Thoth built the Great Pyramid? Wouldnt that make them Atlantean?
There are so many gaps and missing pieces in history to say that any of us has the full story is silly. We are trying to make our way through a dark cavern with a dollar store flashlight. Any view you have is going to be dwarfed by what is still unseen. How about we learn more about what something is for rather than quibbling over the racial identity of the constructor.

oh brother, never been a fan of those afrocentrists, and the "judaism was stolen by the jews from africans" crowd, as they do more harm by imitating white bigots who go around claiming caucasians invented everything, and taking credit were it is not due, rather than focus strictly on actual examples.

but the cauca-centrists
, are even more ridiculous in their claims, especially how they consolidate/lump old europeans [non-caucasian "dark-whites" by the way] contributions into their own.

re tut and his indo-european ancestry, no mystery here folks, just evidence of indo-aryan admixture from Mittani and thereabouts, to claim tut was irish, though just shows somebody is reading their map backwards.

en.wikipedia.org...

Mitanni (Hittite cuneiform KUR URUMi-ta-an-ni, also Mittani Mi-it-ta-ni) or Hanigalbat (Assyrian Hanigalbat, Khanigalbat cuneiform ?a-ni-gal-bat) was a loosely organized Hurrian-speaking state in northern Syria and south-east Anatolia from ca. 1500 BC–1300 BC. Founded by an Indo-Aryan ruling class governing a predominately Hurrian population, Mitanni came to be a regional power after the Hittite destruction of Kassite Babylon created a power vacuum in Mesopotamia. At the beginning of its history, Mitanni's major rival was Egypt under the Thutmosids. However, with the ascent of the Hittite empire, Mitanni and Egypt made an alliance to protect their mutual interests from the threat of Hittite domination.

***********
The ethnicity of the people of Mitanni is difficult to ascertain. A treatise on the training of chariot horses contains a number of Indo-Aryan glosses.[8] Kammenhuber (1968) suggested that this vocabulary was derived from the still undivided Indo-Iranian language,[9][10] but Mayrhofer (1974) has shown that specifically Indo-Aryan features are present.[11]

The names of the Mitanni aristocracy frequently are of Indo-Aryan origin, but it is specifically their deities which show Indo-Aryan roots (Mitra, Varuna, Indra, Nasatya), though some think that they are probably more immediately related to the Kassites.[12] The common people's language, the Hurrian language is neither Indo-European nor Semitic.[13] Hurrian, and thus the Hurrians, are therefore believed to be relatives of Urartu, both belonging to the Hurro-Urartian language family. It had been held that nothing more can be deduced from current evidence.[14] A Hurrian passage in the Amarna letters – usually composed in Akkadian, the lingua franca of the day – indicates that the royal family of Mitanni was by then speaking Hurrian as well.

and then there is the Nubian dynasty en.wikipedia.org...

The twenty-fifth dynasty of Egypt, known as the Nubian Dynasty or the Ku#e Empire, was the last dynasty of the Third Intermediate Period of Egypt, a line of rulers originating in the Nubian Kingdom of Kush.

They reigned in part or all of Ancient Egypt from 760 BC to 656 BC.[1] The dynasty began with Kashta's invasion of Upper Egypt and culminated in several years of war with the Assyrians

After Assyrian king Esarhaddon invaded Egypt and defeated the Nubians, they were succeeded by the Twenty-sixth dynasty of Egypt, the last native dynasty to rule Egypt before the Persian conquest.

Geographic, Ethnic, And Historical Backgrounds

Geographic factors help explain sub-Sahara Africa's relatively late
state-building. Climatic changes between 5000 and 1500 B.C., which produced
the Sahara Desert, limited cultural contacts with the Middle East and the
Mediterranean basin. When such contacts became more frequent in the Christian
era, local African traditions were deeply rooted and resistant to change. In
addition, the vast space open to migration south of the Sahara decreased
conflict over land, thereby lessening what had been a significant stimulus in
the formation of many early Eurasian states. This factor, too, helps account
for delayed political development.

Although most Americans have traditionally thought of sub-Sahara Africa
as an immense jungle, more than half of the area comprises grassy plains,
known as savanna. The northern savanna, sometimes called the Sudan, stretches
across the continent, just south of the Sahara. Other patches of savanna are
interspersed among the mountains of East Africa, and another belt of grassland
runs east and west across the southern continent, north of the Kalahari
Desert. Between the northern and southern savannas, in the region of the
equator, is jungle. Heavy rainfall here permitted the cultivation of some
nutritious crops, but soils were not very fertile, and the rain forests
produced many dangers, including sleeping sickness, to which both humans and
animals are susceptible. Generally, the most habitable regions have been the
savannas, which have favored transportation and agriculture.

After the Sahara became arid, the most prominent sub-Saharan peoples were
Negroid speakers of diverse but related Bantu languages. Originating in west
central Africa, between the savanna and the forests, the Bantu began migrating
after about 1000 B.C. For centuries, they moved south and east, ultimately
spreading along the east coast. By A.D. 1000, they had reached central Natal,
in what is now the Republic of South Africa. During their migrations, the
Bantu absorbed or displaced other Negroid peoples of eastern and southern
Africa, driving pygmies, Bushmen, and Khoisan-speaking pastoralists into the
southern jungle, the Kalahari Desert, or the extreme southwestern savanna.
Thus Bantu migrants provided most of sub-Sahara Africa with a common cultural
identity.

The Bantu migrations were closely related to agriculture and iron-working
in a continuous reciprocal process. Developing agriculture expanded Bantu
populations; iron tools and weapons provided the means to acquire new lands;
and the resulting migrations spread both technologies through the whole
sub-Sahara region.

the real irony here is that a study of ancient cultures shows that civilizations like ancient egypt were succesful examples of multi-culturalism, so much for the claims that multi-culturalism can't work, typical.

What is this?

www.digitaljournal.com...

Its ok. This is not the USSR where opposing views are shunned.

The truth(usually something no one expected) will be uncovered in time. Egyptians originated from Sudan and present day Ethiopia.

en.wikipedia.org...-historic_Egypt
www.maplandia.com...

en.wikipedia.org...

Over time they mixed with the empires that conquered them or intermarried with. That's why they look the way they do and have Eurasian DNA. They are mixed.

Say something positive about Africans/African culture. Anything....I know you can do it.

Umm... Didn't we all descend from a mitochondrial Eve on the continent of Africa? Doesn't that make us all related and being such, shouldn't we be proud of any achievement of humankind?

Well Cheik Anta Diop who worked on the radiocarbon dating lab projects in Dakar only wanted a 2mm square of mummy skin as a gift. This was firmly and constantly denied. He was given other minor objects from the mummy tombs. I wasvery privelidged to have several private conversations with him via an intwerpreter. Of copurse the melanin would have been clearly seen.

The OP conveninetly ignores Sir EA Wallis Budge's quote in the back of volume 2 of his book "The gods of the Egyptians" Those who wish to understand The gods of the Egyptians need to look to black Africa first" .

He also goes on to say that "it is tolerably certain that the Egyptian of the later part of the Neolithic period was indigenous to North East Africa".

Luxus are you familiar with Michael Tsarion's "Irish Origins of Civilization"? Fantastic stuff that would be thrown in the "racist" bin by afrocentrists. 2 books and also 10 hours of DVD companion material, which can be watched at youtube. Did I mention it's fantastic?

Actually these mummies have now been proven to be defacto european Celts. This was verified using DNA profiling, textile examination by ancient textile experts, and tool analysis.
So there you have it: europeans brought technology and civilzation to the Chinese thousands of years before the first chinese dynasty. I bet the chinese communist party hates these mummies!! Lol!
