How did this happen? Why? How do you just leave a person in a van knowing that the heat may kill them? Then say nothing when questioned as to the actions that lead up to this. Why are these people allowed in the industry of taking care of people?

ABC

Newsday

How is that any different than what the current society that we are living in with the haves and have nots? Our caregivers are much like the ones presented above that allowed one to pass with out comfort. Yet we allow them to keep us in the van. Sure we complain and write about our anger. What exactly are you doing to change it? Yes, we are like the disabled man left in the van because we are helpless to a point. Note, I said to a point. Just as those who need these services are helpless to a point as well. No one is completely helpless as long as they breath.

You do not need violence to take out a monarchy of caregivers, however you do need to at least speak, do, act. Our caregivers are leaving us in the van…The question is do you wish to end up like Alonzio?

The video does apply if you think about it.

Thanks for reading,

My thoughts go out to those who are affected by this passing of Alonzio.

Mods, if this is not the right place for this post please move it. I was not sure where to put it. Thanks.
