Hey, just wanted to see how many people enjoy watching or participating in the growing sport/martial art of Muay Thai. For those who are unaware of
what Muay Thai is, it is one of the most oldest Martial Arts in the world, originating around 2000 years ago. It is now taking off as a sport in
Australia, Asia and Europe.
Here is a clip of the #1 fighter in the world 'John' Wayne Parr (8 Time World Champion - Middleweight)
practiced muay thai for about 6 years, something great to add to the rest of my repertoire. one of the best sports out there to keep you fit, the
only other one I found comparable was western boxing.
I got into Muay Thai when I watched the first series of contender Asia, Even went to Singapore to watch JWP in the final against Yodsenklai.
He got his ass handed to him but it still made me proud to be an Aussie
Got a couple photos after the fight with him, he was a top bloke and an absolute gentleman
Muay Thai is awesome! Incredible and deadly however, if a good Western boxer gets on the inside it can spell out trouble... please tell me you all
know who Nai Khanom Tom is?
