Well to start with lets look at:
en.wikipedia.org...

Afghanistan Donated $100,000 to the hurricane victims,
Albania Donated $308,000,
Argentina Made offers of help and assistance. Argentina also dispatched an elite team of bilingual mental health professionals
Armenia Pledged $200,000 and made offers of help and assistance

www.guardian.co.uk...

The UK government has spent £20 m to support the people of Haiti following the quake this time last year

Click on the Data Link.

Also FYI on the most charitable countries:

en.wikipedia.org...

1. Sweden - 1.12% 2. Norway - 1.06% 3. Luxembourg - 1.01% 4. Denmark - 0.88% 5. Netherlands - 0.82% 6. Belgium - 0.55% 7. Finland - 0.54% 8. Ireland - 0.54% 9. United Kingdom - 0.52% 10. Switzerland - 0.47% 11. France- 0.46% 12. Spain - 0.46% 13. Germany - 0.35% 14. Canada - 0.30% 15. Austria - 0.30% 16. Australia - 0.29% 17. New Zealand - 0.29% 18. Portugal - 0.23% 19. United States - 0.20% 20. Greece - 0.19% 21. Japan - 0.18% 22. Italy - 0.16% 23. South Korea - 0.10%

Seems to me that the US is in the lower rung of this field.

As much truth as is being stated, lest the world remember that the AMERICAN people, have been MORE than GENEROUS in the global community.

The world politicians may have one agenda, but the people of the US are solid gold.

That would require too neutral a position on this matter. Let's forget the fact we became a "superpower" at the request of the global community. We did not want to enter WWII, once Pearl Harbor was attacked we finally bit. We built the most powerful economy, industry and military force the world had ever seen nearly overnight in an historical perspective. We shipped more goods to the Allied and occupied territories than the world has ever repaid. Let's also not forget that we have continued this tradition of global aid into the present. No other nation has donated and exported as much goodwill.

That's not meant as an excuse for our shortcomings, but it is a good reminder.

Don't be"extreme" nobody wants granny to starve.
Thequestion is How many "Ameros" to the usd?( or $'s to the single Amero?)

A rate set by the central bankers will determine everything 1usd:1"newbuck" no change,1 "newbuck" for 100(or 1000) greenbacks is different. What does it do to prices?

Ok:

www.poverty.com...

Luxembourg 109 cents 1.09

As for China and India, well India have enough issues trying to support themselves but have managed to donate $1 mil to Bangladesh for infrastructure development, and China - well if the US still wish to donate to a country that has a history (as with the US) with current rights abuses, and whom also like to state that they are still a developing country - then more the fool the US. China does provide aid to Africa, Latin American and SE Asia.

The US are in hock up to their Butts - they are currently looking for more money to get them out of their debt crisis - they have to BORROW other people's money to get them out of this crisis. So when looking at it from this perspective - ITS NOT THE US'S MONEY AT ALL.

LOL Who's extreme? You just brought up 2 very valid extremities.

Great question back at me,and no..I'm not the answer guy.

Someones not telling us everything for the sake of our well being. I already gave up my contribution to Society in regards to Social Security.

Should I expect new compromises, after I agreed to pre exisiting deals and commitments to and from my government? I paid in for 42 years. I'm ok with that. Now what can I buy?

Just asking.

As stated and proven in previous posts, the US is NOT the biggest "owner" of donations - so no sorry your argument doesnt work with regard to that.
The GFC was more than proven to be the fault of the US, why not start taking responsibility...
Whom is dependent on the US? From what I can understand, correct me if I am wrong. The US is owned now by other countries, again due to their debt issues, so, again, Whom is dependent on the US
Sound to me like the US is dependent on other countries.
Yes any number of ways this could have been stopped if the US Gov were more careful in the habits when it came to the worlds finances maybe the world wouldnt be in this mess, they had many a warning this was going to occur if spending habits were not modified. Got too big for yar boots!
If you donate to someone that doesnt really need it - Be on the US's head. The US is not the top giver when it comes to supporting other countries.. See previous posts for links.

firstly, the US is not "owned" by any other countries.

the US was never dependent on another country.

the US is not to blame for the worlds socialistic mess they got themselves in.

russia shut off a countries gas supply in winter when they didn't pay their bill!! lol!

china will offer help at a scale that people say, "naw, you keep it"

americans are generous to a fault.

did i see saudi arabia in that list?

No I dont think you do (without sound rude).
Also there is many another country that has helped to rebuild other countries, the US doesnt hold the Medal for this.
As for China, India and Russia not being on the list, who cares we are not talking about them. If you read the post correctly you will see that we were talking about, apart from the original article, what people think is fact that the US help out more than other countries, this was not a fact and proven as far as I am concerned.

firstly, the US is not "owned" by any other countries.

Was referring more to the Debt.
leosigh.com...
en.wikipedia.org...
247wallst.com...

the US was never dependent on another country.

Not just for the debt, but also for Oil, Gas, and other products:
dailytrojan.com...
agmetalminer.com...
abcnews.go.com...

russia shut off a countries gas supply in winter when they didn't pay their bill!! lol!

Maybe you should have a look at Guantunamo Bay and their treatment of people there.

china will offer help at a scale that people say, "naw, you keep it"

I dont understand what your saying here I am sorry.

americans are generous to a fault.

Again, your still not the top of the list. There are other countries out there that are truely generous to a fault, US is not the top of the list.

did i see saudi arabia in that list?

What list are you referring to, they are not in the list for Top donators if that is what your asking.

Yeah, Putin's got that right but some of us are quite generous: it's the media putting the spin on things.

He may be referring to fat and lazy ones. But we Americans are happy just the same.

NK, even cuba.

myanmar.

too many handouts if you ask me.

"diminishing returns" comes to mind.

chasing an inside straight, throwing good money after bad,

countries give to further their agenda's.

the people give from the heart.

I have been to Russia quite a few times since 2000. On my first trip it seemed like a doomed nation with horrendous poverty and infrastructure decay. It has since improved dramatically and is a much more vibrant place -- people are even having babies again.

As for the USA....
