Rep. Conyers calls for protests on the WH b/c Obama called for cuts in Social Security

The Republicans, Speaker Boehner or Majority Leader Cantor did not call for Social Security cuts in the budget deal. The President of the United States called for that.

I'm not a fan of Conyers, I feel mixed towards him because on one hand he oversaw the Bush impeachment hearing but at the same time did not do much in the way of bringing justice by impeaching Bush. I'm also not a fan of social security and think it should be abolished, but this is interesting if for no other reason than Conyers is a democrat (and black) marching against Obama. Is this a sign of the times? Now Obama can't even control his own party?

Nov. 8 2008. Sorry, 'support' if you don't like control, although with the stunts he pulls and the wool he pulls over his supporter's eyes it's not a stretch to say control.
