A blonde chick, trying to navigate a traffic circle, ended up in a little fender bender that cracked up luxury cars worth a whopping $1 million.

I'd hate to see what this does to her insurance rates.

Luxury cars worth $1 million crash in Monaco

The wealthy French Riviera city state of Monaco was the scene of a pileup involving five luxury cars with an estimated value of more than $1.1 million, reported MSNBC Thursday.

The collision, involving a Bentley Azure (worth an estimated $400,000), a Mercedes S Class ($120,000), a Ferrari F430 ($230,000), an Aston Martin Rapide ($230,000) and a Porsche 911 ($130,000), occurred in front of Monaco's Place du Casino, according to Sky News.

The British TV network reported that the incident began when the Bentley scraped the side of the Mercedes before plowing into the Ferrari. Then, the Bentley proceeded to run into the Aston Martin and the Porsche.

Hundreds of tourists quickly descended on the scene, snapping photos of the drivers' misfortune.

The Daily mail suggests that this is just typical female driving.

But with recent research suggesting women drivers are more likely to be involved in an accident, they could be forgiven for adhering to the stereotypical view.

Scientists at the University of Michihan looked at 6.5million car crashes and found a higher than expected number of accidents between two female drivers.

They also discovered that women have a tough time negotiating crossroads, T-junctions and slip roads.

Next time you have a little fender bender, think of this story and remember; it could've been a whole lot more expensive.

Guess if she drives a Bentley she can afford the insurance hike, or taking care of everybody without insurance.

Must be nice.

That's a bit over the top. obviously if shes driving the Bentley and has tons of cash so maybe just be annoyed. its not like a 1984 Honda civic caused the crash and just goes" oops I don't have insurance."

how is it a million in damage, it would cost maybe 100,000 to fix those cars, or are they so special that any damage means they are completely totaled?

Here's a better description of the events leading up to this epic wreck.

The Hope Diamond of fender benders unfolded yesterday in possibly the most conspicuous stretch of asphalt in the .75-square-mile principality — the round-about in front of the James Bond-worthy casino — when three blondes in a jelly-bean blue Bentley Azure ($363,000) scraped the rear of a white Mercedes-Benz S-Class (a paltry $91,000). And that was merely the appetizer.

Served up for the main course were a hapless black Ferrari F430 ($186,000), which was hit nose-first by the 2.7-ton Bentley. Then, like two tankers mashing in the fog, a four-door Aston Martin Rapide ($228,000) crunched into the Azure’s passenger door. The cherry on this metal, plastic and carbon-fiber shattering souffle: a stray Porsche 911 ($77,000).

In all, a Titanic mess in mere moments, involving nearly a million dollars of primo automotive machinery. How did this happen? A quick photo-based forensics of the scene based on knowledge of the Place du Casino offers many clues.

What’s evident is that these five vehicles did not all converge on each other in one massive supercar big bang. The Bentley clearly was at fault. Its nose is pointing straight at the casino’s entrance, an entrance where fine cars are routinely valet-parked diagonally. It seems that the Bentley’s driver thought she could sneak past the white Mercedes, then swerved right when she realized they were going to collide, which in turn clipped the Rapide coming up on her right. The Ferrari and the Porsche were collateral damage - parked directly in the Bentley’s now diverted path.

I didn't say the damage would cost $1million to fix, I said that the value of the cars involved was $1 million. Still, the repair bills for this wreck are sure to go into six figures.

something tells me these folks aren't buying their insurance from Progressive Flo, so all will be well.

few months ago online i read that actor Rowan Atkinson (Mr.Bean) is personally responsible for the destruction of multiple world-class collectible race cars. if i recall correctly, he didn't own them, either. i guess in certain circles its posh to allow celebrities to pilot your over-priced. bragging rights always come with a price.

I was under the impression young males were more likely to be involved in accidents. If females are, why do men pay more for their premiums?

As for Rowan Atkinson, he actually races classic cars now and is a pretty good driver from what I've heard.

heh! This is kind of comical really. What would be even funnier is if she would have been driving a 20,000 or lower valued car.
I'm sure they are bloody rich. My question is who was all texting at the wheel? Humm.

I find this incredibly funny! Its perfectly fitting for his acting personalty. He's a heck of an actor. I love everything he does. Great British Comedy. He falls right in with Monty Python and the crew, And for me that's saying a lot.

Stuff like this is hilarious!

Its always funny when it happens to someone else, especially if they're rich.

She's just lucky that she was driving the most expensive car in the whole wreck.

Check it. They remind me of a typical american family on a vacation to Monaco of all places. I'm calling the Bentley a rental. Better have insurance. Although the picture doesn't show the worst of it, it'll probably get posted on Epic Fail.
