So you believe on a hunch? Very interesting. I assumed most who "believed" had a story, experience of some kind...that's why I asked my original
question.
No, I don't really "believe" as belief has some sort of definate knowledge...its a strong word I am not comfortable with.
I believe in the possibility...and I have a hunch they have been here...suspect they have been here, however, I don't believe (yet) because there is
no proof..there is a mountain of evidence, all falling just short of smoking gun proof.
And since I do not have a subjective experience, then I cannot believe based on personal experience either (stories from others are neat, but it could
be flawed...so, proof from others, or personal experience is required for me to cross that final line)
I believe in ghosts, even though it makes no sense and there is no proof..but that belief comes from my subjective experience. honestly, ghosts make
no sense to my worldview, but it happened anyhow, so ya...there you go...I however do not label what a "ghost" is beyond a description of events
best described.
I have never had the alien experience, yet based on my friends daughter, I have to believe there is some kind of alien out there we know nothing about
in the general public. Kinda scary in a way.
See, thats what I mean.
You believe based on anothers perceptions and accounts. you have to do a lot of assumptions to get there...assume nobody is pulling someone elses
legs, assume nobody has been shown false information (those aliens were actually robots and this was a test on the daughter by the government to see
if she can even be trusted to see the real secrets...so, show her the robot aliens and see if she suddenly talks to others about aliens...if she does,
fire her, if she doesn't, then let her know the real secrets verses the fake secret)
You can suspect, you can entertain the thought, etc...but why flat out believe? Ultimately, you don't know what is happening beyond what your
taught. Would you believe in christianity if someone said they met jesus? would you believe in islam if someone said they met a jinn? etc...
The whole ET subject is fascinating and passionate, however, I personally don't think belief in what should be the realm of science is required, or
even desired...once you start believing without evidence, then you quickly turn this into a religion verses a uncovering.
What I saw in the sky was almost 23 years ago. For a couple months I thought about it, then slowly it faded away. Until I read the post on here about
11:11. Which I distinctly remember seeing after that UFO(?) sighting. It happened for the longest time. Maybe a connection to those who have seen
"something", or maybe not.
UFOs are not necessarily extraterrestrial crafts...UFOs are simple scientific fact...many nations on earth have confirmed this, plenty of documents
are released...
The question is not about UFOs...its about aliens..I don't care about ufo encounters overall as they could simply be seeing some new hover drone
designed by the military, or a new stealth craft that the public won't know about for 50 years...etc
By the way...love your frog signature
