You're wrong.
People need to unify in order to make a difference in the bigger picture. There needs to be a vanguard group at the frontlines providing the
counter-ideology against the system for there to be a unified following. This is tried and true revolutionary theory.
It was Marx who theorized that revolution happens when the people unanimously rise up. Well, this doesn't happen. The people can't do anything
unless they are unified, hence Lenin's revolutionary theory which still applies today for a global stage (and not necessarily in a communist sense
either).
There have been people who have made a difference without following ideology, and rather persuing their individual will. Such as Jesus. However,
this is next to impossible in modern times because such people are labelled insane or terrorist.
