Over the past decade or so we as people have become more fascinated and enthralled with the internet. Sure it was there before but never have we been able to connect with people all around the world as we are today. There are so many different ways to connect to the internet that everyone is online at some point in their lives. And no matter what you use the internet for when you log on you will eventually see an opinion or too and maybe add one of your own. Just about anyplace online can become a forum from news stories to youtube videos...anyone can type their opinion but do you think that internet commentary from random people has any positive impact what so ever on todays society?

it doesn't really matter, some people have some pretty solid feedback, but the internet is rampant with trolls, so anything anybody says gets twisted, or discredited.. I see a lot of perpetual hate on the internet. But I guess you just gotta take the good with the bad.

Has it helped? I'm sure it has had a huge influence.

Has it harmed? I believe in some ways it has harmed us. It seems to have made us all idle and confined to the internet. People talk of revolution, people spread ideas, but not much has happened yet.

Its where the good out weighs the bad....

imagine for a second we had no internet .

What would be your propaganda sources?

TV
Newspaper
Teachers
Family
Friends....

seems pretty limited to me ... easy to sell you on anything.....

then comes along this open forum for anyone in the world instantly to communicate and share ideas ...

the internet . That opened the doors to discussion and connecting people who normally wouldnt connect....

how much ignorance the internet has taken away

but also how much it has added

Sure internet has its negative aspects ...

but the postivie far out weigh the negative

therefore internet is a positive trait espically when its used to its full potential of information sharing

We are in the information age and the internet Stand by her thrown

For the people crying about the internet i ask them to simply call there ISP cancel and not participate?

I would rather deal with the trolls of the internet then to have a censored internet anyday of the week.....

and if anyone doesn't like what i had to say ......

Positive impact?

Definitely!

I've learnt literally thousands of new subjects, concepts, ideas and opinions through online research and the voice of others online, I'll admit I've seen, heard and read an almost equal amount of negative commentary but either way I believe it's still useful.

Never hurts to look into the minds of others, disregarding how warped their opinions or ideas might be.

Why not check out ATS members and its increasing numbers ?

How about other growing conspiracy websites?

Do we not need to keep educated the masses before we have enough numbers to be pissed off about to even start a revolution?

Or do you perfer ignorant masses stand up for a revolution they know nothing about ?

Clearly the internet and sharing information about the negatives in the world is working....

as more and more people wake up to it .

its a information war .... but many don't seem to grasp that fact

its propaganda vs propaganda

the elites are doing very good job and keep the masses dumbed down with reality tv , sporting events etc

but the internet is a stab in the back for there ignorance warfare....

internet is working .. but they are fighting back to keep it back in the bottle

Imagine where we would be without the internet and at what stage of the revolution we would be at??

very minimal ....

now thanks to the internet we have many many people who are aware and waking up and teaching others

this is all positive

it only looks idle to people with little patience who expect revolutions over night =)

Look at prisonplanet aj's website and how many memebers that has gathered ...

people are waking up sorry but rome wasn't built in a day

I'm not really here to educate the masses so to speak, simply to learn as much as possible, share my own knowledge to others who request it and have fun during the process.

But still, a positive experience
