Secretpedia - An ATS member created Encyclopedia

I wonder what members think of ideas to create an ATS section "Encyclopedia"? This would be worked out to not be sourced by secondary sources, such as Wikipedia... first page of Google searches etc... but in research and investigative protocols, which would be easy enough for most ATS members to work.

Verification and Validation of sources etc...

The consideration could be handed to the mods / research section etc.. However the protocols and ins and outs of the process would be figured... But I am interested in what members have to say. An Encyclopedia dealing in ATS required material might be a plus...

An ATS ...pedia might be the fruit of all the work done here, by all the members. Maybe a two level process and not a wiki ( instant change ) model.. the first level might be like that, but the final section pedia will be the second comprehensive rendition ( for the public )....

Hope this isn't confusing! lol....

Oh goodness, what a Great Idea, lets hope the Owners of ATS go for this. Would be good to fall back on for research etc.

Thanks for the TinWiki link... I looked through some of it... It's nowhere near what I'm talking about. It isn't near comprehensive enough for an Encyclopedia, though it seems a good idea as a content section for ATS members.

I mentioned an Encyclopedia that is only a Wiki model on a first ( working ) level for ATS members, but the second final result would be a comprehensive "Encyclopedia for the public" and members. Background.. sources and much, much more comprehensive... I wouldn't imagine ATS threads being permitted as sources ( unless the topic is ATS Threads )... of course! lol

Anyone online can use such an Encyclopedia ( Tinwiki has no such Caliber ) and I'm sure ATS and the members can pull off an Encyclopedia worth its salt.

Sounds like a good idea, but I hope someone thinks of a better name, because Secretpedia sounds awkward as all hell.

How about Psychopedia? or ah..... Encyclopedia - from the vaults? nah....

we actually had something like this were myself and many others edited and provided articles for. and yes it was the tinwiki, however due to a server corruption most of the tinwiki stuff was lost a few years ago , the link someone provided above is just a drop in the pool as to what was managed ot be recovered from it, unfortunately the web page we used couldn't be saved (it was a similar sort of set up as wikipedia etc) i would love to see this reimplemented again, i spent many many hours on the last one lol
