In my humble opinion, I don't think everyone actually thinks about
all the information that is passed electronically when using a debit card,
credit card, or passport, etc...
We blindly accept it as normal with no real hesitation.
Is it just a part of modern life?
Every single swipe has your information, monetary data, some personal information...the list goes on.
So, in essence we already are "chipped".
That it, if you use these RFID imbedded cards.
We already have electronic currency in the form of debit cards.
I would be willing to say 95% of people in America use them. If not more.
Dependence on this technology could prove to backfire on those who want privacy.
My strongest fear is when it will become mandatory to have them on your persons.
Identifying you anywhere you go, and any time you do something.
I honestly believe that's where this technology will be used next.
It almost seems inevitable. We already don't notice what's in our lives now.
Might call it conditioning...
Implants could be right around the corner.
(or some crisis sets off a "need" for biometric security nationally)
Or they will be involved with the next "reserve" currency.
