Lord Justice Leveson went to two parties in the past year at the London home of Matthew Freud, a PR executive married to Elisabeth Murdoch, the daughter of Rupert Murdoch widely tipped to be her father’s successor.

It emerged yesterday that Lord Leveson, while chairman of the Sentencing Council that advises the Government on punishing criminals, met Mr Freud at a dinner in February last year in an Oxford University college.

The pair discussed how to promote public confidence in the criminal justice system.

Mr Freud then offered to provide some staff from his company Freud Communications to work for nothing advising the council on how to raise confidence in sentencing.

This is starting to look very bad for Cameron....he is already under pressure right now from MP's because of his refusal to give a straight anwer to the Commons when asked if he had discussed the BSkyB deal with Murdoch or his CEO.

George Osborne also flew to NY and had dinner with Rupert Murdoch just two weeks before the decision on the takeover bid was to be made.

And the situation continues to expand. It has now come out that Murdoch's News Corp has also been hacking emails, and apparently sending trojans in emails to get access to private correspondence.

To me, this is just further proof of the corruption of governments. It just looks bad, especially when you see that a lot of our leaders were involved in "special clubs" while in college and then they all go on to be politicians of some sort. It really does make you think that the PTB are chosen and not voted.

Now, when these things come out a few whistleblowers end up dead. Rinse and Repeat, it just keeps happening. The media never have an outcry and neither do the populace so history will continue repeating.
