Hmm...always a good question:
1. Ace Combat 5
2. Final Fantasy VIII
3. Kingdom Hearts 2
4. Ghostbusters (the newer one)
5. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
6. Super Mario Brothers 3
7. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
8. Team Fortress 2
9. Pokemon Black
10. Command and Conquer Generals
11. Sim City
12. Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
13. Oregon Trail (on the old rickety computer where you had to use a 5.5" floppy disk to play it!)
14. Ace Combat Zero (the soundtrack alone merits a place on this list)
15. Metal Gear Solid
16. Super Smash Bros. Melee
17. New Super Mario Brothers
18. Radar Mission (Old Game Boy game I always played, evidently you can get it for the 3DS now)
19. 1943 (The handheld game. Hard as hell, but all the beeps and boops made it a wonderful experience)
20. Magic Johnson's Basketball (NES)
21. Homefront
22. Medal of Honor (Original)
23. Medal of Honor (2010)
24. Vegas Stakes (another old Game Boy game)
25. Destroy All Humans! (come on...who can't have fun anal probing int he 1950's?)
I've been gaming a long time so this is a pretty diverse list. I played the NES until 1997 and then my dad got a Playstation that I eventually got a
few years later as well as a Gamecube. Its hard to play some of my older favorites (especially original game boy) since the graphics advancements
just ruin your ability to use those older devices, but thankfully they made the Super Game Boy for the SNES and the DS still plays the Advanced so
I'm covered
And just in case there are COD fans out there. I despise Black Ops, and can only tolerate the others because of their good storyline. MW2, for all
of its abuses, is my favorite of the franchise just because you have a balance between being able to rush around or sit back and let the enemy come to
you (not camping a door, but using a roof or other open space to cover a large area with your weapon as enemies come by, big difference).
