I will miss the shuttle program, and the fact that is was public and it felt like it was "our" shuttle. Once these kinds of programs are privatized, will we still be able to see launches and receive updates? I sure hope so, because space is our future and I would like for children to still be able to participate in space exploration.

The space programs are what go me interested in astronomy as a child, and I hope that future generations will have the same experience. It is kind of sad the see the program end, but I will be waiting for whatever is next. It must have been fun to be able to hear the landing, thanks for sharing.
