I cried then and it makes me cry to think of that moment- his touch is unfreakin incredible - great goal to start...50 yard pass two touch w/in 1 second and goal...in mydreams...

Cruyff was a legend for the Orange Clock so to speak...Unfortunately I only saw him on his downside, with the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the Nasl...thanks again - I still think the goal vs argentina was one of the best ever...man was a wizard with the ball..

Too bad the Netherlands can't win the big game.

His hat-trick against Leicester City, in 1997, was pure class.

His 3rd goal in that match, with his control, touch and finish, was eerily similar to that match-winning goal against Argentina less than a year later.

I feel that you're a bit harsh on the Dutch there. Let's not forget that the Netherlands has only around 17 million people, yet they have consistently been one of the top teams in Europe, and the world, for the best part of the last 40 years.

For a country with such a comparatively small population, as opposed to Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina, England and France, they have produced a fine selection of players and teams over the years.

I don't disagree with what you are saying. That's why it's a shame they can't seem to win the big one after three tries.

I daresay Arsenal have been starved of his quality until they signed Ozil. A damn shame he isn't linking up with RVP (today's Henry).

He was joy to watch, for me personally, his best goal was against Newcastle

He started the whole action in own half and the just gone forward, raised his arm, Pires saw it and passed it and then a piece of magic happened=) Just marvelous.

Im also happy for him and Ajax when they razed Barca on Wednesday with 10 men.
