I would have posted in chit chat but its not available.
which is the reason I was asking about bts.
Bonnie just hit New Brunswick and caused irreperable damage. I saw scenes of flooding on tv, which is pretty major since it was supposed to have lost
most of its power before it reached Canada.
I just realised how severe Charlie is, since it is more devastating than bonnie, as it stepped up from a category 2 to a category 4 hurricane.
On a personal note. I live in Toronto, even though I was aware of these situations, it wasn't that much of a big deal as of yesterday, as it didn't
affect me in any way. I do have family in Florida, and my prayers go out to them and to the rest of the people living on the east coast.
The weatherman in Toronto predicted that Charlie would get picked up by a jetstream hence directing it eastward towards the ocean. Which now seems
to be wishful thinking.
Hurricane Chalie report
Spared the worst of the storm was the Tampa Bay area, where about a million people had been told to leave their homes. Some drove east, only to
find themselves in the path of the Charley.
"I feel like the biggest fool," said Robert Angel of Tarpon Springs, who sought safety in a Lakeland motel. "I spent hundreds of dollars to be in
the center of a hurricane. Our home is safe, but now I'm in danger."
