Please help Identify LASCO C3

I was checking the lasco site for sun activity yesterday 18/July and I saw something peek at the edge..something bright..today I go back there again and it looks huge ! Any Idea what that is ? I know Planets are much smaller in brightness..what is that at 3 o'clock position ?

OP..do you really think that if there is something out of the ordinary in the SOHO pictures..something they dont want you to see...you will find the picture online available ??

Can you confirm/deny this info? Couldn't find anything through official sources although it seems interesting...

Space observations of comet Elenin may take place by July 31st

NASA is interested in observing Comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin) with the space coronagraphs SOHO and STEREO. Not long ago I received a reply from Joseph B. Gurman to the effect that starting July 17 they will be running pointing tests on the space telescope STEREO-B. The spacecraft will be rotated as will be necessary to do in the future to observe the comet. If all the tests are successful, of which the STEREO team has no doubt, they will observe Comet Elenin from July 31 to August 12, two hours a day. The minimal distance (July 31 2011, 12:40 UT) between comet and spacecraft will be 7.4 million km (0.049 AU). Plans to observe the comet using SOHO with different fliters are also in the works.

comet elenin was never involved in anyway ...

Venus is looking way too big to bring a 4km comet into the discussion..

as i said..youtube videos are already pronouncing this as Nibiru..

and anyone who believes he can discover something so spectacular as another Planet on SOHO images needs help

That's why I asked if you perhaps knew if NASA is indeed planning on tracking Comet C/2010 X1 with the SOHO satelite.Since it is claimed that preparations for this venture would begin round the 17th I thought it might be interesting to check if it's valid info...

I had a sneaking suspicion there was some confusion. I shall not recycle useless threads anymore.

But I really didn't want to create a new thread because I'm the one always complaining about littering this site with redundant threads. I could bother to look it up further but I thought....what the heck, let's ask Heineken.
