There has been a breakthrough in treatment for stroke victims, it emerged recently. Apparently doctors can insert a tiny 'corkscrew' like wire into
an artery in the victims groin, then make it travel upward to the blood clot in the victims brain. Whilst there, this wire 'remembers' to form into
a corkscrew like shape, and attaches itslef to the clot. The wire is then removed, taking the blood clot along with it. Treatment like this could save
thousands in the future, as ABC News put it.
