Which do you want:

Fighting the horrors of Warped Universe with Nothing but Flashlight(Lasgun) and T-Shirt(Flak Armor)

or

Simply fights armies of Giant Bugs with pretty much the same albeit (technically) worse Equipment than Imperial Guard(considering Imperial Guard Lasgun is still has superior firepower than today's guns and Flak Armor is tougher than Kevlar while Morita Rifle that Mobile Infantry uses have no better firepower than today's guns and the Bulletproof vest that Movie's Mobile Infantry are no more bulletproof than wet tissue)

Come on you apes! You wanta live forever.

The Straship Trooper movie blew hard, the book is the only Starship troopers I will acknowledge.

A mobile infantry suit is a unstoppable force.

It is stronger than any mjolnir armor.

So I will take Mobile Infantry over any Fantasy force.

That might a great "What if" episode for Deadliest Warrior.

Write 'em and see if they'll bite.

Read the book... mobile suit does it all in the Star Ship Troopers story.
They could not duplicate it in the movie ..so the story was changed .

expect Imperial Guardsmen curbstomps movie's Mobile Infantrymen as Guardsmen Lasgun and Flak Armor are better than today's Guns and Bulletproof vest while movie's Mobile Infantrymen are have no better firepower than Today's Military guns and their Bulletproof Vest is just cardboard

A great movie could be made about the invasion of Cadia.

The Starship Troopers movie franchise needs a remake like they did for Batman and Star Trek. The original movie was embaressing and veered too far from what Heinlein wrote.

Jeez. many don't know their lore.

The Emperor's armies are inexhustible.
Billions of guardsmen fight in his name.

I'd go with the guard.

Going by your original post, did you mean the Imperial Guard as in WH40K? (Warhammer 40K)

That's what it sounds like.

Most are probably going to assume you meant the Imperial Guard from Star Wars.

In WH40K, the Imperials are pretty weak (average grunt)... It's the heavy vehicles that get the job done.

In Starship Troopers, 1 marine vs. 1 bug, and my money's on the bug. (at least taking out the marine with him).

Simply put, in the movie, those guys would have been toast up against those odds.

In the Star Wars Imperial Guard though, you're pretty safe, basically just around the Emperor in red robes. If you mean the average soldier, Stormtrooper...still pretty good, as the Empire is a big fan of overkill, and you'll really outnumber your opponents. The real danger is being a TIE pilot. No shields, no hyperdrive, and the enemy's ships are far better. Of course, you've got numbers on your side.
