Simple questions, and viruses, don't contribute to the forum. So neither would be better. An absolute question like this, is better for google, or even a dictionary, and doesn't contribute to any discussion on the forum.

Theist = Belief in one or more deities.
(A)theist = (lacking) Belief in one or more deities.

And it's not an athiest term, so no reason to ask atheists specifically. It's just that most theists only talk about their specific term for their beliefs, whereas theism is a more general term.

It has already been pointed out, that this is a meaningless way of posing a question and starting a thread, so I can continue:

For some christians it's their aim, that theism eventually will be synonymous with christianity, as they work towards an exclusive monopoly.
