Before i posted this i thought to myself that someone would probably come along a cry that this isn’t a conspiracy and should be moved to rant or off-topic discussions or something... I would just like to point out that i believe that there is a deliberate and orchestrated effort to divide the human race. We are constantly fighting each other over petty differences and while divided we are weak. We see it every day on ATS and, to be honest, it can get a little depressing. Now i could go on and complain about the NWO and governments and the like but actually i want to focus on us. We MAY be able to change governments by we CAN change ourselves.

This is my thread of peace... please leave hate behind as you enter... thanks

There have been so many divisive threads lately. Anti Christian, Anti Muslim, Anti Atheists, Anti gay. Threads against white people, threads blaming black people... some subtle, some not so subtle.

What has become of us?

Why can we not let go of our of this tit-for-tat pathetic finger pointing and pro **whatever** rhetoric??

Someone from group B points out a flaw in group A... someone from group A responds by pointing out a flaw in group B... and on and on it goes... round and round... a cycle of perpetual hate.

ENOUGH!!!

I want some love... some unity... some peace!

We need to step out of our pigeon holes. Take off the blinkers. Try to view the world from different angles.

There is beauty in all races/cultures/beliefs... we just have to open our eyes.

So, I would like you to help me... Post videos, pics, story’s.... anything that demonstrates harmony and peace. Anything that you find beautiful about another culture or race. Or anything about your own culture you wish to share.

NO HATE!!!

My cultural heritage is that of a Cockney.

From my own culture i find beauty in the cockney generosity and willingness to help. I am proud of our working class roots and the pearly kings and queens who work tirelessly to raise money for charity.

I love the fact that we really know how to have a party, or as we call it, a knees up. I love our traditional food, pie and mash, which is humble, tasty and filling... and I love the fact that many people I have introduced to it look absolutely petrified when they see their pie and mash covered in a green sauce (called Liquor)

I find beauty in many other cultures too... but probably the closest to my heart is Jamaican culture. I love the food which is wholesome and tasty... Curry Goat, Rice and peas, Jerk Chicken, Saltfish, fried snapper, Manish water... Mmmm

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/35a235be5649.jpg[/atsimg]

I love the fact that, although the island has had (and continues to have) many problems, there is a also core foundation of hope, unity and love that runs through Jamaican culture.

Clip from one of my favourite Jamaican movies (Country man)... I dare you to watch the clip without getting hungry... I find true beauty in this scene...

And I love the Reggae, especially Bob Marley who was a hero of mine who believed in racial unity and peace...

Enjoy...

Love and Peace to all

I couldn't have said it better myself, Brother. I really couldn't. You've spoken on the biggest problem I see today. The lack of love for one another is indeed saddening, But I feel there is still hope. You've proven it.

I've much love for all nationalities. There is much beauty in each of them. In each of us, in fact. you did touch on a weakness of mine: Food. Chinese, Mexican, and Northern Indian are my favorites. I would probably eat Crab Rangoon in every meal if I had the chance, and cheese covered burritos made with Nan bread.

I wish I could offer more on my own background, But all l know is I am 1/8 Cherokee, a more significant part Celtic, and a small dash of English. I've no real details on any one line I've come from. My Father is still attempting to trace his father's Cherokee linage. But I'll leave this here, as I think it explains a good deal better than I can with a better music track (that is if I embed it right).

Wow! Very nice thread! S+F!

And I agree with you that the cultivation of hate is a conspiracy to divide us. I've always thought that. You have most conspiracists on these boards and elsewhere claiming to be truth-seekers without even acknowledging what it could all mean. They don't want to get to the bigger picture, just spin their theories to fit their political or religious agenda. It raises the hair on my back when they condemn the recognition that we could all be interconnected as some evil NWO agenda when in fact, that was universal truth long before our very existence. For people who claim to think outside the box, they're not shy about spouting strong xenophobic tendencies. Not only xenophobia against their fellow man, but against other intelligent life that might be outside of Earth. We can blame the evil overlords all we want but we are the biggest accomplice in our misery, untill we're willing to face the source of our division(which is also IN US).

Of course with division we become weak next to self-destruction. Deep down, we all know that life needs love to prosper; by prosper I don't mean to procreate like worthless cattle. We can be smart about the management of our multiplicity, but we'd had that natural instinc if we knew the truth about ourselves. So it's not just the hate, it's the fact that our spieces is being kept in the dark. We don't know if it has always been the case for every previous civilizations but we don't have truth; the truth about where we come from, where we're going and the purpose of life. With love comes the respect of life if life is precious and with respect comes honesty, so love must also brings truth. Love brings bliss, which cannot be ignorance. Believe me, ignorance is not bliss, IT'S HELL! So what happened to us? Maybe there's a masochist gene in our DNA that keep us from the bliss of love.

You just can't get past all that with the love subject. Love means alot!

If Animals can , so can we!

Actually the world is far more tolerant of others today than at any other time in the history of mankind. If you choose to look at just the bad then that's all you will see. Try focusing on the good.

misunderstanding, ignorant to other peoples beliefs/culture, fear of different beliefs/culture, and ego (my way is right yours must be wrong).

and it will continue because parents are in fear of their children learning about these different things, and force their own beliefs on their children. so they grow up just as ignorant as the parent to other people.

The problem is humans tend to love things to death and will fight to the death to keep love alive. So is the perpetual hatred the comes along when love has been taken away... something like cannot forget, therefore cannot forgive...

Maybe love is just emotions attached to things... instead of free-floating love that can embrace all and everything. maybe love is not the answer but sense - to see your own love in perspective with the grand creation, the multiple ways to love, the havok that love caused... the fall of troja for example

great thread, but i'd say love without attachement, though

I completely AGREE!!!!! It is not a secret that there are people that would like to see the breakdown of this Republic, Democracy, Free-Market Enterprise and everything else this country stands for... I happen to believe this goes deeper however - This is SPIRITUAL WARFARE!! And just as you have stated... "IT STARTS WITH US AS INDIVIDUALS TO CREATE CHANGE!" We CAN change ourselves, our hearts, our communities, actions and stand firm in our resolutions and convictions of what we know is right and true!!! The more LOVE we put forth into this world, the more love grows and we can become the change we would like to see in others - in the world!! THANK YOU for your posting!!

Hate can breed peace, Love can breed war.

Love and hate are not so simply defined. It's how you use it.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/93ed3527d705.jpg[/atsimg]

hope that works! this is fleischkuekla. it is a food eaten by germans from russia (aka vorvaters kinder). my dad's mother was gfr, i mostly experienced this culture through the food (not to mention my neighborhood growing up was known as "moscow" due to the gfr immigrants who lived there). most gfr food is very simple, as many gfr people were poor peasants. you see lots of flour and potatoes! anyway, fleishkuegla is a seasoned meat patty wrapped in dough and deep fried. very simple, but come on, it's like a deep fried hamburger! good stuff.

Only by knowing that false balance is a scheme! 1+-1=0 and 0=repeated cycle or 0=nil. That's how the devil fool ya!
