For residents of the North this strong anguish, we here in hell
13 July, the city broke out as the match. Lit literally everything
forest, houses, cars, garages, peat, cklad. In the video, part of what is happening. In our region, already a month, no rain. I don't know what's going on? but, to the North, it is not normal.

”In Arkhangelsk Region 60 wildfires are burning in the area of 5300 hectares. In fact, the area of wildfires has increased by 3000 hectares within 24 hours and the number of fires - by 18”, - Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu said at the conference call.

Well it sounds like they don't have the resources to maintain their forests properly and this is what happens when you build close to them without proper care.

Hope they make it out ok and are able to find funds to prevent future disasters like this.

The youtube link shows the town on fire.

Very frightening. Fire season is just starting too. I remember last year Russia was on the news from more than usual forest fires. Especially scary when there are small towns at risk.

For instance, only 35 people and three machines were involved in fighting the region’s largest forest fire in Leshukonskoye, which embraced the territory of 1,100 hectares.

It sounds like resources for fire fighting are lacking. With our fires, we have lots of water bombing planes and helicopters fighting the fires if there are any water sources near enough. I don't know what we would do without them.

I hope you can stay safe...
